This could be incredibly funny, if it were not so serious.

https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2019/jun/29/mps-tell-jeremy-corbyn-get-grip-or-lose-election-antisemitism MPs tell Jeremy Corbyn: get a grip or lose a general election This could be incredibly funny, perhaps even descending into the world of farce, if it were not so serious. As this "antisemitism" controversy drags on with more of Watson's secret army being pushed into the firing line to criticise the Chris Williamson readmission to the party, the media add their weight to the "lets get Corbyn" ruckus. With such lurid headlines as " Jeremy Corbyn calls for civil service inquiry after health claims" or " British Jews say they could leave the UK if Corbyn becomes PM - ‘It’s heartbreaking " and even a piece of health scare nonsense with " Jeremy Corbyn health, stroke fears as mandarins say he’s too frail to become PM ". Yesterday, I wrote how these mischievous conspirators cannot even be honest in their desire to oust

They should at least be honest.

The thrust of the aggression this time is the continuing "row" over the readmission of Chris Williamson back into the Labour party following his suspension, for suggesting that Labour had been "too apologetic" over antisemitism. It is too much to hope that Watson and his Rent a Group followers could at least be honest in their motivations for persisting with the almost daily bullying and intimidation of party members and th

https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2019/jun/26/chris-williamson-back-in-labour-party-after-antisemitism-remarks Fury over return of Chris Williamson Chris Williamson has been readmitted to the Labour party following his suspension for suggesting the party had been “too apologetic” about antisemitism. What did Williamson actually say? Addressing activists in Sheffield Williamson said "I’ve got to say, I think our party’s response has been partly responsible … Because, in my opinion, we’ve backed off far too much, we’ve given too much ground, we’ve been too apologetic.” Later he apologised saying " “I deeply regret, and apologise for, my recent choice of words when speaking about how the Labour party has responded to the ongoing fight against antisemitism inside of our party. I was trying to stress how much the party has done to tackle antisemitism.” The apology and subsequent suspension, should have been enough, but in the world of "Lets use any

Sanctions are jingoistic baloney.

https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2019/jun/24/mike-pompeo-us-saudi-arabia-talks-iran-united-arab-emirates-tensions Trump orders fresh sanctions against Iran's Ali Khamenei The arrogance and conceit of some American Presidents is breath taking. "We will bomb them back to the stone age" or "I am the President of the United Sates, I can bomb who the hell I like" or even "I will bomb them to the negotiating table" are indicative of an unhealthy hubris which seems to be contagious on anyone, with a few notable exceptions, taking the office of President. This gung-ho nonsense proved to be no more than hot air of course and in the end had little effect on the outcome of events. Now Trump the misogynist, racist, bigoted warmonger, wades in with his latest list of putative sanctions added to those already in place, with which to punish Iran’s supreme leader, Ali Khamenei, and other officials including eight Revolutionary Guard

They can elect Jack the Ripper to lead them as far as I am concerned, but this Tory leadership election is different. They will be electing the next Prime Minister of this country. The holder of the highest position of State in the country should be "squeaky clean" in both their private lives as well as their public lives. However, Tweddle Dumber shows yet again how unfit he would be to become Prime Minister, as more allegations concerning his private life emerge in the media. Screams of "get off me" and "get out of my flat" from partner Carrie Symonds, together with sounds of banging and breaking crockery were reported coming from M/s Symonds flat in the early h

Tweddle Dumb and Tweddle Dumber resolved to have a battle.

https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2019/jun/20/tory-leadership-rumours-of-dark-arts-swirl-before-final-vote   Johnson and Hunt to fight for the spoils The MP's section of the Conservative party leadership election has played out its final act and it now falls to the conservative party members in the country to make the final choice. The two remaining candidates, Tweddle Dumb and Tweddle Dumber will now go head to head in a series of hustings around the country trying to dredge up enough votes from the 110,000 party members who will decide who is to be the Conservative party leader. What a choice those 110,000 have before them. Tweddle Dumb, the man who destroyed vast sections of the NHS and proved to be an outright liar in his dealings with the Junior Doctors in their dispute. The man who famously forgot that his own wife is Chinese not Japanese. The same man who has throughout his political career, proved time and again his ability to maintain a straight

https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2019/jun/20/sajid-javid-knocked-out-in-fourth-round-of-tory-leadership-race Sajid Javid knocked out in fourth round of Tory leadership ra ce. The plot thickens. The Conservative nonentity Sajid Javid is knocked out of the leadership contest, collecting a measly 34 votes. Of the remaining three candidates another 1 will be eliminated this afternoon, leaving just two names to go onto the ballot paper to be circulated to conservative party members. Interestingly, there were two spoilt ballot papers in this mornings round and it would be nice to know who those Tory MP's actually were and whether there will be more spoilt papers this afternoon. Add caption Perhaps the conservative MP's have shot themselves in the foot by eliminating Rory Stewart yesterday, leaving these four, now three, imbeciles to "fight it out" for the big prize. https://www.express.co.uk/news/politics/1142262/tory-leadership-vote-today-odds-latest-candidates-boris-johnson-rory-stewart-debate Rory Stewart in talks with Gove for joint bid to take out Boris. What a preposterous thought. It seems to me that Rory Stewart is streets ahead of the imbecile Gove. There seems little doubt that the buffoon Johnson will be on the final ballot paper, but with Javid and Hunt again proving that they are more concerned with self than with truth in that they are offering a Brexit solution, which they must know is untenable. However, truth, even with self has never been part of Conservative psyche. The whole field of candidates, all five of them and soon to be reduced again, have shown little to command a view that any of them are fit to be the Prime Minister of this country. Leader of the Conservative party Yes but never a PM. That is one of the vagaries of the British political system. In a few weeks time, the members of the conservat

I watched parts of the Conservative "Hustings" on Channel 4 television last night. Now I am not a conservative, nor do I vote for the conservative party, but from idle curiosity I tuned in to see what the calibre of the 5 candidates actually is, as Boris Johnson decided not to attend. The only word I can find is "pathetic" with perhaps one exception. While the "candidates" engaged in shouting down or interrupting each other trying to prove that each would be better than the rest, Rory Stewart rose above the ignorant patronising exchanges and summed it up by saying, "The fundamental issue here is there is a competition of machismo. Everyone is saying ‘I’m tougher’. Every time I have this debate everyone is like, ‘trust me, I’m the guy, I can defeat the impossible odd

The "antisemitic" smear does not work with me

"Who would benefit from a war with Iran?" Part two I have received a significant number of responses and "likes" to my post "Who would benefit from a war with Iran?" The vast amount of responses are in agreement with what I wrote, but one (which I now cannot find. perhaps it has been deleted by its author),challenged me about lack of proof of Mossad finger prints, yet at the same time accepted the American, United Kingdom and Saudi Arabia allegations as fact without one shred of evidence. He then went on to accuse me of being  antisemitic, which he says is typical of the Labour party at this time. Well Mr whoever you are, you may be prepared to accept anything that the Americans or our own government say as gospel truth, but in view of previous evidence I am not. If you consider that my original post is antisemitic, then you are part of the warped bandwagon trundling around at this time who believe that you and those like you are somehow able to th

No proof but the rhetoric gets louder

Washington wants regime change in Tehran and the UK is complicit in that objective. There is as yet no proof about the attacks on the tankers, but the anti Iran rhetoric is becoming louder.

The fingerprints of Mossad are all over this.

https://www.theguardian.com/world/2019/jun/16/iran-tanker-attacks-saudi-crown-prince-wont-hesitate-to-deal-with-any-threat Saudi crown prince tells Iran: 'We won't hesitate to deal with any threat' Who would benefit from a war with Iran? The United States certainly, Saudi Arabia probably, and then there is Israel. The United Kingdom would do its usual role of jumping up and down waving the Pom Poms as a dutiful cheerleader. The attacks on the two oil tankers in the Gulf of Oman, has the finger prints of Mossad all over it and Tel Aviv are famous for waging their false flag operations in all parts of the world. What possible motive could Tehran have for attacking Norwegian or Japanese ships? The idea of attacking ships from countries who are defying the American embargo's and sanctions is preposterous. We do not have to look very far to see who the beneficiaries would be.

Another challenger for the Lib Dem leadership has just slithered out of the woodwork.,

Chuka Umunna, the wanted to be Labour leader, but who could not stand the "pressure of media exposure" (especially when he realised that his prospects of winning the leadership contest were less than zero), who then "defected" to the Change UK party and wanted to be its leader, until support for the new party crumbled away to nothing making him realise that he would be the leader of nothing, he has now changed his coat again. Chuka Umunna has defected to the Liberal Democrats where he has been welcomed warmly by senior Lib Dem MPs including Jo Swinson, who is the frontrunner to replace Mr Cable when he steps down in July. Vince Cable has awarded Umunna a top job in the Liberal Democrats by being appointed shadow Treasury and business spokesperson by

Jeremy Hunt leaps onto the American bandwagon

https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2019/jun/15/corbyn-no-credible-evidence-of-iran-role-in-tanker-attacks No 'credible evidence' of Iran role in tanker attacks. Jeremy Hunt, one of the conservative party leadership candidates, blindly follows the lead of the United States, in blaming Iran for the attacks on the two oil tankers in the Gulf of Oman. Trump, Bolton and the British government are determined to wage war against Iran using any excuse regardless of the evidence. Hunt condemns Jeremy Corbyn for calling on our government to abstain from escalating tensions with Iran without “credible evidence”. A reasoned and responsible view to express in seeking verifiable proof before rushing into the clamour to blame Iran. Hunt on the other hand jumps onto the American band wagon tweeting " “Pathetic and predictable,“From Salisbury to the Middle East, why can he (Corbyn) never bring himself to back British allies, British intelligence or British interests?

The failed antisemitism campaign is becoming desperate..

https://www.thetimes.co.uk/edition/news/new-labour-mp-must-be-suspended-hd6dsxqjw New Labour MP ‘must be suspended’ say the usual suspects. Less than 48 hours after  Lisa Forbes for  Labour held the Peterborough seat, there are calls from the usual suspects, led by Wes Streeting, Margaret Hodge and John Mann, for the newest MP to be suspended from the Labour party on the grounds of "antisemitism". Not to be outdone in this endless witch hunt, the Jewish Labour Movement,  Labour Against Antisemitism  and other pressure groups have joined the clamour for her suspension. Having failed in their attempts to influence the Peterborough result, the "antisemitism" smear campaign are becoming desperate and now frantic in their continuing quest to undermine and replace the leadership the Labour party. Until now the "antisemitism" tactic has been reasonably successful in that much time and effort has been expended by our party arguing and refuting many spuri

The "antisemitism" smear tactics failed.

https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2019/jun/07/peterborough-byelection-result-labour-sees-off-brexit-party-threat-to-hold-seat Lisa Forbes, holds Peterborough for Labour. The media and the usual suspects in the PLP, never cease to amaze me. For weeks preaching doom and gloom about how Labour would be trounced in the Peterborough by election, they now are faced with the reality that Labour held the seat and the Brexit party came second, despite all the predictions of a landslide win, the Conservative's were nowhere. The other big looser's of the night were that sinister collection, of media, party members and outside pressure groups, lurking in the shadows throwing the smears and abuse of antisemitism allegations with the objective of undermining the Labour party candidates and the leadership. In this they failed miserably as the antisemitic smear did not work and had no effect on the way people voted. Where do they go from here? Perhaps this by elect

State banquet for Trump

The assembled guests all 170 of them could be seen bobbing up and down like corks on a rough lake as the Queen and Trump passed by with more royal family members following as the procession entered the dining room.  Taking their chairs for the meal, they were confronted with this exorbitant menu, but Trump, being  tee total missed out on the wines. - Steamed fillet of halibut with watercress mousse, asparagus spears and chervil sauce. - Saddle of new season Windsor lamb with herb stuffing, spring vegetables, port sauce. - Strawberry sable with lemon verbena cream.

A State Visit is not necessary to commemorate D Day.

https://news.sky.com/story/sadiq-khan-wrong-to-roll-out-red-carpet-for-trumps-visit-to-uk-11733238 The State visit is more for Trump and his ego than for D Day commemorations. The quote of the week if not of the millennia, came from a sycophantic onlooker waiting to wave a small paper Stars and Stripes flag and greet Trump when he arrives at the Palace. "Had it not been for America, we would not have won the war" bleated this naive and brainwashed buffoon, on a live television interview. No doubt surrounded by other sycophants with the same views, there is a great misconception in respect to what this visit is all about. Trump could have attended the commemorations of D Day, without the pomp and circumstance of a full blown State Visit. Quite rightly we, the Americans and the Canadians should remember those who fought and died on the beaches of Normandy in 1944. However it is a quantum leap to stating that "Had it not been for America, we would not have

We must not be bullied into appeasing those elements intent on destroying our party

https://www.theguardian.com/news/2019/may/31/israeli-embassy-labour-antisemitism-claims-peter-willsman Labour suspends NEC member over antisemitism claims. Firstly, I would state, quite categorically, that antisemitism and racism have no place within our party. However, it is interesting to examine the events of the recent history of our party to see the trends of the past 4 years. On the 12th September 2015 Jeremy Corbyn was elected leader of the Labour party with an overwhelming 59.5% of the vote. On the 14th September of the same year, elements within the party, the PLP and the media, began a campaign to discredit Corbyn and the new leadership in order to overturn the decision of the members vote and to replace the leader with one more acceptable to parts of the PLP and the establishment, to return to the "good old days" when the PLP were the sole power base within the party and could dictate to all within, what direction and what policies the party would pursue.
