It is not until you spend some time in hospital that you realise how bad things in the NHS have actually become.The Mirror report deals only with the tip of the iceberg concerning staff levels, and there is no doubt that shortages of staff are common and widespread throughout the NHS. Certainly this is the case in Dorchester NHS Trust. It is not however a problem in staffing levels alone. There is a shortage of everything and I mean every thing, Medicines, medical equipment, ointm ents, and other what should be essential supplies have either not been ordered or are not available due to "savings" in expenditure. At one stage male disposable urine bottles were being reused at least twice, as replacements had not been ordered "in order to save money. The Tory government wit its drive for austerity and cuts is killing our NHS. Soon they may even be killing patients if they have not done so already.
