Remember Nagasaki

August 9th 1945.
Between 60,000 and 80,000 (exact figures are impossible, the blast having obliterated bodies and disintegrated records) people were killed  and thousands more have died from injuries or illness attributed to the bombing.

Nagasaki was the secondary target for August 9th, but Kokura, the primary target, had 70% cloud cover obscuring that city, prevented the planned attack.

Only one country has ever used nuclear weapons against the civilian population of another country.
