Why is Cameron so set against Leveson recommendations?

Why is Cameron so set against the recommendations of the report? His prevarications and delaying moves, "...he is expected to block it to prevent a likely government defeat", are clearly indicative of a private agenda. Cameron should beware. The consequences for being closely involved with the media can be very damaging as many have found to their cost.
