Killing badgers for no apparent reason.

http://www.dorsetecho.co.uk/news/13504514.REVEALED__Dorset_in_firing_line_for_badger_cull/ Dorset in firing line for badger cull   The unproven, untested and barbaric practice of killing badgers for no other reason than some "expert" thinks that it may be a good idea, comes to Dorset. The vast majority of scientific evidence and research, tell us that culling has very little or no effect on the spread of bovine TB. In fact the evidence says that inoculation would be an effective method of control if such a link could be establish and would in any case not require Badgers to be killed.  The only reason that inoculation is dismissed in because it is more expensive than a bullet and the "authorities" responsible for the culling process have to monitor costs and save money. Bloody outrageous.

An odious woman suggests another means of killing animals.

http://www.theguardian.com/environment/2014/apr/04/badgers-should-be-gassed-princess-anne-cull  Badgers should be gassed, says Princess Anne   Gassing is the most humane way to control them,   It seems that it is of little consequence to this odious woman whether it is gas, bullet or blade, as long as the badgers are killed. She is just giving us the "benefit" of her own personal opinion. This type of comment is what would normally be expected from the "hunting, shooting" fraternity, who completely ignore any evidence regarding the ineffectiveness of "the cull". Perhaps next she will suggest using the hounds as another alternative.

Badgers move the goalposts and confound Government minister.

http://www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/2013/10/09/owen-paterson-badger-cull_n_4069213.html?utm_hp_ref=uk#comments Owen Paterson On Badger Cull: 'I'm Not Moving The Goalposts, The Badgers Are Moving The Goalposts' Environmental secretary Owen Paterson   Environmental secretary Owen Paterson sees another "conspiracy theory". It seems that the badgers are plotting against us and are planning the overthrow of the ConDem coalition and the destruction of DEFRA. With morons like Paterson in government it seems like a good idea to me.  The Badger High Command planning the next stage of their coup    I am with the badgers.

Culling teams are seeking an extension to kill more badgers,

http://www.theguardian.com/environment/2013/oct/08/badger-cull-extension-too-few-killed?commentpage=1   Badger cull extension sought after too few killed They have no idea how many badgers there are and consequently no idea what percentage of the badger population they have killed. They have still to prove the link between Bovine TB and badgers and they have still to prove that a programme of shooting is more effective that vaccination. Yet, these murdering bastards want an extended timescale to kill even more. A pointless and futile exercise designed to satisfy a human blood lust rater that address a problem.

Killing badgers.

http://www.guardian.co.uk/environment/2013/may/30/humaneness-badger-cull-judged-noise?commentpage=2    Humaneness of badger cull to be judged on noise of dying animals.      "Observation of a shot animal's behaviour and vocalisations is the only method available to determine the degree of pain that may be experienced during the dying process."   Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs. The badger cull could begin any time from 1 June in parts of Gloucestershire and Somerset.  There is no such thing as "humaneness" in killing badgers (or any other animal for that matter). Particularly when the "link" between bovine TB and badgers remains questionable in many scientific circles. In addition to this, many scientist and vets who do consider that there is a link, advocate a programme of vaccinations to address the problem rather than a wild-west shooting spree. Whichever camp you agree with, the wholesale killing of badgers ...

Killing badgers is not the solution.

http://www.guardian.co.uk/environment/2012/oct/13/badger-cull-mindless   Government's chief scientist among those who dispute evidence used to justify killings.   If the vast majority of opinion think that to carry out this slaughter of badgers is not justified on any grounds and is not the answer to TB in cattle, why is this government so determined to press ahead with the cull? There seems to be a hidden agenda somewhere.

Should badgers be culled ?

http://www.independent.co.uk/environment/nature/vital-cull-or-heartless-slaughter-the-great-badger-debate-8202970.html There is no tangible evidence, nor has there ever been, linking badgers specifically with the spread of bovine TB. Until such evidence is presented (if ever), this senseless slaughter of badgers must be stopped.
