Priti Patel blames Jeremy Corbyn for the failure of government policy to control immigration. Blaming Jeremy Corbyn for everything descended to new depths of absurdity on Question Time (BBC Television 10:45. 29th September) last night when panellist Priti Patel, who was born in London to a Ugandan Indian migrant family, stated that immigration to this country is out of control with vast numbers of migrants arriving almost daily, placing an intolerable burden on housing, jobs, social services and the infrastructure of our society. The cause of this problem is, according to Patel, the absolute failure of Jeremy Corbyn to control the numbers of migrants, arriving in this country from Europe and additionally as refugees from outside, and the failure of his policies on immigration. Did anyone notice that the first few lines of the interview with Fallon were repeat ed on every news programme from 5pm onward and on Sky News (the same 10 second clip was show 4 times in the space of three minutes) and the smirking Patel filled our screens with her patronising manner as she repeated the party line.
