Remember Deir Yassin

The massacre at Deir Yassin.    The Palestinian village of Deir Yassin was attacked on the 9th April 1948 by Jewish terrorists (Israel did not exist until the declaration of 14th May 1948) of the Irgun and Lehi terrorist groups supported by a Palmach mortar unit of the Haganah, another Jewish terrorist organisation. Around 170 Palestinian civilians, including women and children, were killed, with the survivors being loaded on trucks and driven off for a “victory” parade.     These terrorist groups were subsequently absorbed into the Israeli Defence Forces and have continued their programmes of terrorism, aggression and ethnic cleansing against the people in the occupied lands of Palestine ever since and the world turns a blind eye. Deir Yassin (closed to the public) in the green trees to the right of the water tower “The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.” (republished from Apr...

Criticism does not equate to anti semitism.

http://www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/2014/05/14/anti-semitism_n_5323142.html?utm_hp_ref=uk More Than One Billion People 'Hold Anti-Semitic Views', Says ADL The ADL’s National Director Abraham Foxman The Anti-Defamation League (ADL), formerly known as the Anti-Defamation League of B'nai B'rith, is an international Jewish non-governmental organization based in the United States. Before wandering down this cul de sac of ADL propaganda, people should really understand the difference between being anti  Jewish, and anti Israeli. The way in which the IOF behave in the occupied territories of Palestine, will naturally draw criticism and condemnation from many quarters. That criticism is not anti semetic, it is a condemnation of an Israeli government witch condones and encourages continuing occupation and excesses by the occupying forces. The same criticism would be leveled against any power which occupied anothers land and behaved in similar ways. However...

Israel is always the "victim"

http://www.theguardian.com/world/2014/may/02/massacre-marred-birth-israel-independence Massacre that marred "birth" of Israel Kfar Etzion   Peter Beaumont writes an article, seeking to perpetuate the "Israelis are the victims" myth that has been repeated by countless Israel supporters since 1948. The only incident mentioned is the one concerning Kfar Etzion on the 13th/14th May 1948. In such a biased and provocative piece of journalistic propaganda, there is of course, no mention of the events at Deir Yassin on 9th April 1948, some weeks before. Deir Yassin Belmont's headline could be applied equally to both events, but when it comes to "analysing" the middle east, Israel can do nothing wrong and is always the victim.

April 9th 1948

The Deir Yassin massacre took place on April 9, 1948, when around 120 fighters from the Irgun Zevai Leumi and Lohamei Herut Israel Zionist paramilitary groups attacked Deir Yassin near Jerusalem, Plaque In 2010, the Supreme Court of Israel rejected a petition by the newspaper Haaretz for the declassification of documents, reports and photographs concerning the Deir Yassin massacre.
