http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2012/oct/12/greece-eu-nobel-peace-prize-war Awarding the "Peace Prize" to the EU is lunacy.The actual wording of the section of Alfred Nobel's will reads ".....and one part to the person who shall have done the most or the best work for fraternity between nations, for the abolition or reduction of standing armies and for the holding and promotion of peace congresses." Note the words "to the person". Thus, the EU does not qualify on any count to be eligible to receive the prize! Think again Nobel prize committee, and then award the prize to someone who actually deserves it.
