Remember Hiroshima. August 6th 1945

Only one country has ever used nuclear weapons against the civilian population of another country.  The mushroom cloud after the atomic bombing of Hiroshima Hiroshima Gas Company Building and the ruins of the Honkawa Elementary School.   August 6th 1945. 80,000 people were killed instantly and thousands more have died from injuries or illness attributed to the attack.

Tawfiq Abu Riyala, a fisherman from Gaza, killed by Israeli Defence Forces.

The agreement provided for the opening of the border crossings to allow building materials, medical supplies and other essential materials into Gaza, the shrinking of the "buffer zone", around the perimeter of Gaza to allow Palestinians access to their farm lands, and the extension of the fishing zones around Gaza to 12 miles. Due to the duplicitous relationship between the ruling clique of Abdel Fattah el-Sisi in Egypt and the Israeli occupation forces in Palestine under the government of Benjamin Netanyahu in Tel Avi...

Coming out of the woodwork.

http://www.independent.co.uk/news/people/john-prescott-links-tony-bl-airs-invasion-of-iraq-with-radicalisation-of-young-muslims-10108322.html   John Prescott links Tony Blair's Iraq invasion with radicalisation of young Muslims Former deputy PM  believes the 2003 invasion of Iraq was 'wrong'   How strange and sad that the politicians (and others) now crawling out of the wood work to criticise Blair and the other warmongers for their illegal wars in Iraq and Libya and the folly of the Afghanistan invasion, have taken so long to speak out publicly. Had they had the backbone to take a stand against Blair and Bush and stay out of American interventions at the time, then perhaps this country would have been spared the consequences of these wars and many families in the United Kingdom would have been spared the trauma of losing loved ones in the pointless and futile conflicts.    Even at the time, there was substantial public o...

No Major-General, it is not the same at all.

http://www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/2013/11/09/marine-murder-insurgent_n_4244907.html Army Chiefs Call For Leniency For Marine Who 'Executed' Injured Afghan Insurgent   Major-General Julian Thompson   When is a war crime, not a war crime? Judging by many of the “comments” against this Huffington Post article, it seems that the indiscriminate killing of an unarmed, wounded enemy while in the custody of soldiers, (particularly if those soldiers are British troops) qualifies only for praise and commendation. Is it not the case that a war crime is a war crime, whether committed in Deir Yassin, or Mai Lai, or at Saarbrücken, or in Hellmand province? The is no doubt that the British service personnel currently serving in Afghanistan, and those who have died there, are deserving of the greatest praise and respect. That in itself does not justify or excuse behaviour of the type described in the court. Nor does it warrant intervention by Major-General Ju...

Blair, the peace envoy, still advocating war.

http://www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/2013/08/26/syria-tony-blair-mps-vote_n_3819466.html Tony Blair Tells David Cameron And President Obama To Intervene In Syria   "Blair Tells Cameron and Obama To Intervene In Syria." This one phrase, spoken by a man who has led this country into illegal wars, for which we and the people of the countries concerned are still paying the price, a man who has lied to Parliament on more than one occasion in order to achieve his own personal agenda, a man who has perverted the course of justice to in order to stop investigations into corruption by companies and their customers, a man who has grown very rich with fees, endorsements and writings on matters ranging from politics to biography and to new world order, clearly confirms his megalomania and self opinionated posture. Blair is not in any position to "tell" people to do anything. He should be in the ICC on war crime charges.” ...

Tony Blair looking for another intervention.

Blair: No planning could have prepared us for Iraq.    Blair: there is "a case for" arming opposition fighters in Syria Blair did an interview with Mark Austen on ITN last night. Blair is still lying about the war in Iraq, still in denial about the situation in Iraq today and now he wants to intervene in Syria. He may be a catholic, he may have a good education, he may once have been the Prime Minister of this country but none of that prevents him from being a dangerous, war mongering megalomaniac who should be facing war crimes charges.  The interview (part) can be viewed at:   http://www.itv.com/news/update/2013-03-09/tony-blair-no-planning-could-have-prepared-us-for-iraq/
