Not in my name !

http://www.independent.co.uk/voices/comment/israel-demands-our-support-because-it-fights-its-war-against-terrorists-in-our-name-8335857.html  Israel claims to hold the same values as the supposedly moral West. It says that it is fighting “terrorism” in our name as well as its own. Pillar of Defence Pillar of Defence Israel does not fight its war in my name. It may be a generalisation, because I am sure that there are some Israeli's who are equally appalled by their governments actions as are many of the rest of us, but judging from the Israeli media and comments in the Jerusalem Post for example, it is clear to me that Israel is a nation of hysterical Palestinian hating bigots wallowing in self pity and constantly playing the "we are the victims" and the "holocaust" cards. Israel constantly relies on its relationship with the United States, emphasised over the past few days by Obama and Clinton, to carry out its heinous aggression...

The finger prints of Jack Straw

http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/politics/ios-hillsborough-exclusive-revealed--the-critical-role-of-jack-straw-8165990.html Jack Straw had made up his mind within five weeks of coming to power that there was no need for a fresh inquiry into the Hillsborough tragedy. We should not be surprised that Straw has his  finger prints on the Hillsborough coverup scandal. He was deeply involved with Blair and others in the deception of Parliament and the nation, on the Iraq WMD myth and the subsequent decision in league with the Americans, to launch an illegal act of aggression against the Iraqi people. What his motives were in seeking to avoid a fresh inquiry into Hillsborough are speculative. However, we can be sure that there are other skeletons in Jack Straw's cupboard.

A Labour Lib Dem coalition ? Not for me.

http://www.guardian.co.uk/politics/2012/aug/26/peter-hain-labour-lib-dems Peter Hain says Labour should get ready to do business with Lib Dems I have never had a great amount of time for Hain, as it seems to me that he has always tried to fill the all things to all men role, changing his position as often as he changes his socks. "Blair was a good guy, Brown was a good guy, Milliband (David) was a good guy, (oops, he lost to his brother so) Milliband (Ed) is a good guy" does not demonstrate a consistent view. Now, Hain proposes a classic rightist option of getting into bed with a bunch of hypocrites and their leader who has prostituted himself and his party for a grubby chance of power. Hain now suggests that Labour should do exactly the same thing as Cameron did after the last election, and make a sordid grab for a majority in the commons, just to gain occupation of number 10. He should remember the "Gang of 4", and probably should have followed th...

Blair defends the bankers and praises Thatcher.

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/politics/tony-blair/9422096/Tony-Blair-hanging-bankers-wont-help.html The approach promoted by Baroness Thatcher’s government is not to blame for the recent financial and economic crisis. “Don’t take 30 years of liberalisation, beginning under Mrs Thatcher, and say this is what caused the financial crisis.” Tony Blair: hanging bankers won't help  Letting them have their huge £1miilion + bonuses won't help either. The War criminal Blair comes to the defence of the thieving parasites. A classic case of defending the indefensible. He praises Thatcher’s work to reduce government involvement in free markets, and seeks to re join the Labour Party. Perhaps it's Blair that should be hanging from the lamp post at the end of the street along side 20 bankers.
