Israel has no intention of reaching a settlement.

As it happens, these latest killings in the Qalandia refugee camp, come within hours of the announcement a further construction of 1600 housing units and the infrastructure needed to develop the planned Jewish community, in Ramat Shlomo in East Jerusalem. Ramat Shlomo in East Jerusalem.   How can the Israeli's expect the world to accept the assurance that their intentions in seeking an agreement with Palestine are genuine, and at the same time continue their provocative actions? Israel to build more settlements in East Jerusalem.

http://www.haaretz.com/news/diplomacy-defense/.premium-1.541149   Israel gives final go ahead for 800 more homes in East Jerusalem   Israel approves settlements in East Jerusalem  After yesterday's announcement of 1200 new settler homes in the occupied West bank and Jerusalem, comes this news of an additional 890 homes in East Jerusalem. These announcements, coming as the Palestinian/Israeli talks are scheduled to co mmence tomorrow, Wednesday, clearly demonstrate the determination of Israel to scupper any prospect of an agreement with Palestine. Israel is determined to torpedo any opportunity of a Middle East peace and will seek to shift blame for any breakdown onto the Palestinians. How can any right thinking person believe that the duplicitous Israeli government are acting in good faith with their constant hypocritical references to seeking a solution, whilst at the same time continuing and expanding their construction ...

Continuing settlement building in occupied Palestine.

http://www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/2013/08/11/israel-settlements-palest_n_3740390.html?utm_hp_ref=uk Israel Approves 1,200 New Settler Homes In Palestinian Prisoner Swap Deal Illegal Israeli settlement construction   It has always been abundantly clear that Israel has no interest in, or intention of, making any agreement with Palestine. This Huffington Post article implies that the Palestinians agreed to the continued building of Israeli settlements in exchange for the release of Palestinian prisoners. This is far from true. In fact the Jewish Home Party leader Naftali Bennett (who also boasts that he has killed lots of Arabs during his life) would not support the Israeli coalition government of which his JHP is a part, in continuing with or even attending the Kerry inspired "peace" initiative, or the prisoner release, unless Netanyahu and the rest of the coalition agreed to the announcement of and continuation with the construction of 1,200 more settlem...

Prospect of Palestinian Israeli "talks" fading.

Israeli-Palestinian peace talks' resumption put in doubt by both sides Deep hostility within the Israeli coalition government over the agreement for preliminary talks forged by Kerry on Friday.   Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, right, meets with US Secretary of State John Kerry in Ramalla   Without even reaching Washington, the "talks" seem to be foundering. This is not really surprising as it has always been abundantly clear that Israel has no interest or intention of making any agreement with Palestine. The comments made by members of the Israeli cabinet, demonstrate the extent of the hostility in Israel towards any measure of settlement.  Avigdor Lieberman,  Avigdor Lieberman, stated that "there was "no solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, at least not in the coming years, and what's possible and important to do is conflict-management" Naftali Bennett   Naftali Bennett said “we will insist on th...
