More delays to the "Independent Jersey Care Inquiry" ?

Has the "Independent Jersey Care Inquiry" actually started?   The former children's home Haut de la Garenne On the 16th March last, I wrote in New Agenda under the title of,  "The prevarication and delay of the last three years is finally over?  ( http://new-agenda2012.blogspot.co.uk/2014/03/the-prvarication-and-delay-of-last.html) "At last a starting date for the long delayed "Independent Jersey Care Inquiry" is set to begin on 3 April. It remains to be seen whether, over the next three weeks, any more "points" will be found which will "have to be clarified",  before the inquiry can actually begin."  There seems to be a distinct lack of media coverage in Jersey, as there has been no mention of the start of the inquiry, as far as I am aware, in the Jersey Evening Post, Channelonline tv, or any other media outlet that I am aware of. Has this long overdue inquiry been delayed yet again? It would be stretching the ...

The prevarication and delay of the last three years is finally over?

http://jerseyeveningpost.com/news/2014/03/13/historical-abuse-inquiry-starting-date-announced/ Historical abuse inquiry starting date announced The former children's home Haut de la Garenne At last a starting date for the long delayed "Independent Jersey Care Inquiry" is set to begin on 3 April. It remains to be seen whether, over the next three weeks, any more "points" will be found which will "have to be clarified",  before the inquiry can actually begin.

Historic Child Abuse Inquiry:Public hearings to commence in May ?

http://www.channelonline.tv/channelonline_jerseynews/displayarticle.asp?id=509097 Preparations underway for Historic Abuse Inquiry   On November 6th last year, I wrote in this Blog "New Agenda", that Frances Oldham QC had been nominated to Chair the Historic Child Abuse Inquiry in place of Sally Bradley QC who was originally appointed but had to withdraw due to ill health in September. I also commented that the terms of reference debate,  originally scheduled for the end of 2012,had been  was postponed until February of 2013 and most disturbingly that in November of 2013, it was "over 12 months since the States was dragged, kicking and screaming, to the decision to actually hold an inquiry into child abuse in any case". Today we learn that, "preparations for Jersey's Historic Abuse Inquiry are well underway", Well, that's a step in the right direction. I have long been critical of the apparent prevarication, delay and obstructions wh...

Jersey media bias aids the "establishment".

http://www.channelonline.tv/channelonline_jerseynews/DisplayArticle.asp?ID=508078 Syvret claims he's being "victimised" says channelonline.tv.   Former Senator Stuart Syvret   Typically, this "News Channel", being part of the Jersey establishment, posts only 14 seconds of the video which is in fact, 4 minutes and 42 seconds long. Moreover, channelonline.tv has no section for "comments" with this item, demonstrating once again, that when it comes to the persecution of Stuart Syvret, the Jersey "establishment" and the methods employed to conceal the truth about the corruption, child abuse, or the abuse of office by the judiciary, police and others, will resort to any means to quash  challenges to their activities. It is only through the efforts of people like Syvret, Rico Sorda and others, blogs like "voice for children" and others, together with the use of "twitter" by numerous individuals not only in Jersey ...

Historic child abuse inquiry. Frances Oldham QC nominated to chair and two new members appointed to serve..

http://www.channelonline.tv/channelonline_jerseynews/DisplayArticle.asp?ID=508006 Two new members to serve on child abuse inquiry Haute de la Garenne   Sally Bradley QC was originally appointed to Chair this inquiry but had to withdraw due to ill health in September this year. A debate on the terms of reference for the inquiry, scheduled for January  was postponed until February. It is now over 12 months since the States was dragged, kicking and screaming, to the decision to actually hold an inquiry into child abuse in any case. Since then, prevarication, delay and obstructions have littered the progress of this inquiry and even today, there is no real sign as to when (if at all) the date will be set for commencement. The whole affair of historic child abuse in Jersey contains a catalogue of establishment endeavors to delay any investigation, presumably in the hope that the matter will go away, or at least that the facts will be clouded and obscured by...

The prime target of the Jersey "establishment"

http://www.channelonline.tv/channelonline_jerseynews/DisplayArticle.asp?ID=507994  A warrant has been issued for the arrest of former Senator Stuart Syvret. Former Senator Stuart Syvret   The persecution of Stuart Syvret continues. It is indeed unfortunate (and sinister), that the Jersey "authorities" were and are, not as rigorous in their pursuit and prosecution of the criminals and pedophiles involved in the child sex abuse scandal at Haute de la Garenne and at other locations in Jersey. A warrant is issued for Syvret's arrest and imprisonment, whilst at the same time, those members of Jersey "society" and those in "official" positions, are still walking the streets of St Helier, and remain totally immune from prosecution and still protected by the Jersey establishment". It is not co incidental that one of the people instrumental in exposing the historic child abuse scandal has been removed from public office, imprisoned, vili...

Jersey: A culture of secrecy, intrigue.conspiracy lies.

http://www.thisisjersey.com/news/2013/09/07/stuart-syvret-defies-royal-court/  FORMER Senator Stuart Syvret risks being jailed for contempt of court Sinister developments are evolving in Jersey. There has long been a culture of secrecy, intrigue and conspiracy on the island of Jersey, particularly in the investigations and subsequent coverup of Historic child abuse, not only at Haute de la Garrene, but at numerous other locations around Jersey's 45 square miles. Questions have been asked in Parliament, investigations have been carried out by mainland police, a few minor players in the scandal have been brought to trial and sentence. and "The States", (the islands Parliament) has made a few half hearted attempts to appear concerned by initiating "inquiries". There has also been the insidious campaign of character assassination and smear against people such as Lenny Harper, Graham Power, both being police officers who investigated the scandal a...

Jersey abuse enquiry. Prevarication, delay and now reporting restrictions

Concerns about delayed historic child abuse inquiry.   A Jersey politician is raising concern in the States next week about the delayed Inquiry into historic child abuse. Deputy Trevor Pitman wants to know when abuse victims can expect the investigation to start. It's been postponed after the newly appointed chairman Sally Bradley QC had to withdraw due to ill-health. Deputy Pitman will be asking the Chief Minister what progress has been made in finding a replacement. (channelonline.tv   Latest Headlines 8th September 2013 ) Haute de la Garenne   There is a story noted on the front page of "channelonline.tv"  It is not possible to link in with any details, or to find any other reference to the story on either this channel or on the BBC local channel or even in the Jersey Evening Post. No matter how much the "establishment" in Jersey may wish to keep many odious details of this obscene scandal secret and no mat...

The conspracy continues in North Wales.

http://www.guardian.co.uk/society/2013/jul/08/gutting-jillings-child-abuse-report  Jillings report finally published, many passages in the 300-page document have been redacted The former Bryn Estyn boys home in 1992   The truth is still being withheld. By publishing a report with huge sections of redacted text the "authorities" confirm the extent to which the establishment influence still corrupts and covers up the evil of the abuse. It is totally unacceptable, that these perverts continue to be protected from the law and for the Councils to state that "The report can not be published in its entirety because it contains personal data and material that is considered defamatory." is an insult to the victims as well as to justice. The people responsible for this decision should also face prosecution for conspiracy to pervert the course of justice.

The cloak of the cover up in Jersey.

http://www.vice.com/read/the-journalist-who-was-banned-from-investigating-jerseys-child-abuse#.UVqVbrfxIR4.twitter The Journalist Who Was Arrested for Investigating a Pedophile Orphanage     Another article that the Jersey establishment will not like. Particularly those in the Jersey establishment who are guilty of the abuse and are now part of the ongoing conspiracy to cover it up.

A State of denial where Historic Child Abuse is concerned.

£6 million abuse inquiry will go ahead Jersey News from ITV Channel Television - channelonline.tv Savile at Haut de la Garenne Stuart Syvret   In June of last year, I posted an item under the heading of "Jersey's 'secrecy culture', commenting on how many things are common knowledge in Jersey. However, it is also a fact that there are some events in Jersey which seem to promote a state of denial within many Jersey people. One such topic is the Historic Child Abuse scandal. Yesterday I commented on this Channel Television article with  "Jersey Politicians vote in favour of abuse inquiry" on Facebook, here on my Blog "New Agenda" and in the comments column of the Channelonline.tv page. Some of the other comments on that page are quite revealing. This is a selection. Jersey politicians vote in favour of an abuse inquiry

A Committee of Inquiry in to historical child abuse in Jersey will go ahead.   Members voted in favour of an inquiry   After far too much prevarication and avoidance, the States finally take the right decision and agree an inquiry. It is not the final solution, but at least it is a step towards uncovering the real facts behind the vile scandal which has been a stain on Jersey for some years. There are those who argue that such an inquiry is a waste of money, or that wrong doing took place in many places in the 60s 70s and 80s, and that the enquiry will no doubt prove it so "why waste money just the final report to "state the bleeding obvious".   Haut de la Garenne The critics miss, perhaps intentionally, the whole point. It is not just a question of confirming that abuse did in fact take place. The victims have already established that. The questions that demand answers are of course numerous, but above all others it is essential that th...

The first 12 months of New Agenda.

One year on for New Agenda .   On the 6th March 2012, this “New Agenda” blog, first appeared on the internet, giving my personal views on news and events. The first entry was a rant about BT and the provision of lines and fibre optics to people, like me, who live in rural areas. The reason for the moan was that the internet connection that morning was very slow “... the Internet connection will only work in -1st gear ” and that “........ I have to wait with bated breath for nearly 20 minutes for each stage of the connection ”. Most frustrating as I was trying to publish the very first post on “New Agenda”. Well things have certainly changed since then. The broadband connection to this village has improved significantly. After many months of trying, I was eventually able to obtain a MAC code from AOL, advise them that they were too expensive, their service was awful and that I was moving to a different provider. Ironically, I moved to BT who now provide no...

UK Government Asked To Intervene.

http://youtu.be/hvivsmRODXs The Jersey "Establishment" are a very secret society and are more powerful and influential than can be imagined. Deputy Trevor Pitman - Sick of Corruption Corruption, Historic child abuse, conspiracy, abuse of position, corrupt judicial system, character assassination,  its all part of the foulness that is Jersey today.

The Cover up continues, but for how much longer?

http://misty53.wordpress.com/2013/02/27/the-journalist-who-was-arrested-for-investigating-jerseys-paedophile-orphanage/ The conspiracy of silence surrounding the events at the Haut de la Garenne children's home and the ongoing protection of those responsible, is a stain on the island of Jersey. Haut de la Garenne Savile at the Children,s home  The "authorities" in Jersey, have managed to cover up the outrage of historic child abuse on the Island for many years. Through a combination of fear, threats and intimidation, those who carried out the abuse and those who have, and still are, conspiring to keep the abuse away from public scrutiny, the "secret society of Jersey has managed to destroy the lives or reputations of many who are either victims or who seek to expose the evil. There are those who are campaigning and working for justice for the victims and the exposure of the evil individuals, organisations...

Pierce. Your chip is showing.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/debate/article-2231560/BBC-crisis-Child-abuse-rumours-fuelled-zealot-loathes-Tories.html    A nasty man writing a nasty article for a nasty "newspaper".   Andrew Pierce  Andrew Pierce is an obnoxious short arse with a very large chip on both shoulders. His all too frequent appearances on Sky News for the paper reviews fills me with a great revulsion against the Mail and all those other so called journalist s who work there. As I said in a previous post in respect of the Mail, "A rag which is not even fit enough to hang on a nail in the outside loo. Where incidentally, you can find most of the "journalists" who write the garbage printed in it".

Frank Walker blew it.

http://t.co/f4d76PTW In a recent Guardian Article, the former Chief Minister of Jersey, Frank Walker, was given the opportunity to show the world that Jersey is none of these things and is willing to engage with anybody who believes otherwise. The Guardian Newspaper asked the Former Chief Minister a set of questions (below) that could help shed some light on the (possibly illegal) suspension of Jersey's most Senior Police Officer during the middle of an investigation into allegations of  State Sponsored Pedophilia and related matters. Frank Walker has been avoiding issues and questions for years and getting away with it. It always seemed to me that many States Members were afraid to challenge anything he said or did. This interview from 2008 is enlightening.( Stuart Syvret wins) . http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ghJrJEUNxBY
