The hypocrisy of "diplomacy" concealing reality.

https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2016/dec/08/boris-johnsons-remarks-about-saudi-arabia-not-the-governments-view Downing Street has slapped down Boris Johnson for suggesting that Saudi Arabia is abusing Islam and conducting proxy wars in the Middle East I am no big fan of the buffoon (but not such a buffoon as he would have us believe), Johnson. In fact I am not a little fan either, but in fairness, I find that the reaction of Theresa May in "slapping down," Johnson for telling the truth to be hypocritical in the the extreme.  Not only hypocritical but very sinister when the United Kingdom government resorts to, " The action or practice of behaving obsequiously in order to gain favour", which is the dictionary definition of "Arse licking" and seeks to pass it off as the "etiquette of diplomatic behaviour".  In the case of Saudi Arabia of course there is a very special relationship, and no one is allowed to criticise, in...

The junta is responsible.

The indisputable fact, is that on July 3rd a military coup, led by Abdel Fatah al-Sisi, overthrew the democratically elected President Morsi, replaced him with the Mubarak clone Adly Mansour, and embarked upon a killing spree on the streets of Cairo and a dozen other cities across Egypt in a thi...

Ashraf El-Kholy should be declared as "person non grata"

http://www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/2013/08/15/security-forces-had-to-respond_n_3763096.html?utm_hp_ref=uk Ashraf El-Kholy claimed that the large death toll was partly due to protesters killing each other. Egyptian ambassador to the UK, Ashraf El-Kholy   The Egyptian ambassador to the UK, Ashraf El-Kholy, debases the very principle of diplomacy between nations. It is one thing for an Ambassador to present their country and events there in the best possible light, but quite another to blatantly distort truth and to defend the actions of a military dictatorship with hypocrisy and lies. The evidence and reportage of what happened in Cairo and other towns throughout Egypt yesterday, was displayed on television screens and in first hand reports around the world. It would be impossible for the media, except perhaps State television in Egypt, to ignore or minimise the events in Nasr City and the indiscriminate killing of what is now believed to be more than 700 men women ...
