It is also shocking and sickening to witness the hypocrisy of the western media, in the reporting of this event, and also the behaviour of western politicians in their reaction to the events. The sight of Nicolas Sarkozy complete with serious expression at the scene and later at the airport as the bodies were flown back to Israel was nauseating. Today, we have the news that Baroness Ashton is being urged to resign as EU High Representative by Israel's defence minister, because of her remarks made highlighting various tragedies taking the lives of children when she addressed a Palestinian refugee youth conference in Brussels. She has today qualified her comments with “"At yesterday's event I drew no parallel whatsoever between this tragedy and events elsewhere in the Middle East." Back tracking...
