It seems that there is a competition between   Duncan Smith, Osborne, Rabb, Schapps and a few others to be the most nasty.

Being forced to lose some maternity rights and all access to unfair dismissal tribunals as proposed by George Osborne is another step in the  return to the bad old days. The Tory party and its rabid right have always been the champions of ensuring that working people are" kept in their place" by legislation and anti Trade Union measures and that the employers are allowed to operate without restrictions. .All in exchange for continued and increased contributions to the Conservative party funds.

It is a plan to expose workers to potential workplace dangers in "hundreds of thousands of businesses" where unscrupulous employers are driven by the greed to make more profit, at the expense of the safety of their workers, who will have no recourse to law. How much these "hundreds of thousands" of companies have contributed to party funds in order to promote this new legislation is a matter of speculation.
