"Energy is too cheap" says Deputy Rob Duhamel Jersey's environment minister.

Fuel poverty affects vulnerable households  I note that Deputy Rob Duhamel Jersey's environment minister, thinks that the cost of energy in Jersey is  "too cheap for people who waste a lot." The natural progression to this argument is to raise the price until such time as it is not too cheap to waste. Unfortunately, the warped economic  logic emanating no doubt directly from the energy companies, is that it takes no recognition of those who do not waste energy because they take all the "energy saving measures" they can, but are still unable to afford even the current energy price levels. The solution to this problem is not the "easy option" of never ending price hikes as this only results in more and more "fuel povert...
