Israeli media blames FaceBook!!

http://www.haaretz.com/blogs/david-s-harp/.premium-1.680378?utm_campaign=Echobox&utm_medium=Social&utm_source=Facebook Haaretz says: If the wave of violence we’re seeing now morphs into a full-fledged Third Intifada, blame it on Facebook.      No. Blame this "intifada",on the continuing occupation of Palestine by a barbaric and increasingly vicious Israeli occupation force. Blame this "intifada" on the illegal and inhuman blockade of Gaza by Israel from land and sea and daily airstrikes against the people trapped in the Gaza strip. Blame this "intifada" on the occupation and blockade of Jerusalem and the al-Aqsa Mosque and the Israeli check points every few hundred yards around Palestinian neighbourhoods in occupied East Jerusalem. Blame this "intifada" on the evil Israeli "settlers" on the West Bank and the other occupied areas who build their illegal settlements destroying, infrastructure, crops and homes, and mur...

Tawfiq Abu Riyala, a fisherman from Gaza, killed by Israeli Defence Forces.

http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/middle-east/the-gaza-fisherman-who-built-his-own-reef--and-was-shot-dead-there-by-an-israeli-gunboat-10141357.html The Gaza fisherman who built his own reef - and was shot dead there by an Israeli gunboat The barbaric blockade by Israel of Gaza, should have been lifted or at least scaled down as part of the ceasefire agreement to end the Israeli "Protective Edge" operation of July last year. The agreement provided for the opening of the border crossings to allow building materials, medical supplies and other essential materials into Gaza, the shrinking of the "buffer zone", around the perimeter of Gaza to allow Palestinians access to their farm lands, and the extension of the fishing zones around Gaza to 12 miles. Due to the duplicitous relationship between the ruling clique of Abdel Fattah el-Sisi in Egypt and the Israeli occupation forces in Palestine under the government of Benjamin Netanyahu in Tel Avi...

Israel has no intention of reaching a settlement.

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/08/26/palestinians-call-off-peace-talks_n_3816358.html?utm_hp_ref=world  Palestinians Call Off Peace Talks After West Bank Clash Men carry the body of a Palestinian shot dead by Israeli troops during his funeral at Qalandiya Refugee Camp   As predicted, the Israeli's will find a way of torpedoing the "peace talks" and (try to) dupe the world into accepting the proposition that it was all the Palestinians fault. As it happens, these latest killings in the Qalandia refugee camp, come within hours of the announcement a further construction of 1600 housing units and the infrastructure needed to develop the planned Jewish community, in Ramat Shlomo in East Jerusalem. Ramat Shlomo in East Jerusalem.   How can the Israeli's expect the world to accept the assurance that their intentions in seeking an agreement with Palestine are genuine, and at the same time continue their provocative actions? As I ...

Preferential funding going to illegal Israeli outposts in the occupied West Bank

http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/middle-east/israels-cabinet-approves-new-national-priorities-plan-8745489.html   Israel's cabinet approves new national priorities plan Tzipi Livni, the Israeli justice minister     Another nail in the coffin of the "Israeli Palestinian talks". It has always been abundantly clear that Israel has no interest or intention of making any agreement with Palestine and this further announcement is just another provocation to the Palestinians.

Israel "legalises" settlements in Palestine.

http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2013/may/16/israel-unauthorised-settler-outposts-west-bank          The Israeli government is to legalise four unauthorised more settler outposts in the West Bank     West Bank settler outpost of Givat Asaf, near Ramallah.     Confirmation, if more were needed, that Israel has no intention of reaching any settlement with Palestine. The two state solution is dead. Israel continues to expand and develop more settlements in occupied land in defiance of the United Nations and a growing body of world opinion.    Construction           The building of more settlements in Palestine and the continuing occupation of Palestinian lands are indicative of a nation driven by the objective of the creation of a "Greater Israel" using ethnic cleansing, apartheid and State terrorism as tools to achieve that end.

Israel: State Terrorists.

http://www.haaretz.com/news/ Airstrikes by Israeli F16's against civilians in Beit Lahia, Deir el-Ballah and Khan Younis , can hardly be described as self defence. The thugs of the IDF hide behind the facade of " .........strength and determination...." when they really mean collective punishment by the use of state terrorism.

An open letter to Question Time panel. 31 May 2012

An open letter to Alan Duncan, Stella Creasy, Mark Oaten, Fraser Nelson and Victoria Coren, regarding last night's (31 st May 2012) Question Time on BBC Television.    At 24 minutes into the programme, a Mr Simon MacCausland asked “Would the UK be justified in banning Syrian delegation members with connections to the Assad regime, from the London 2012 Olympics?” The uprising in Syria has been on going for over a year and during that time, there have been numerous atrocities carried out across the country but, regardless of who carried out this latest atrocity in Houla, be it “armed gangs” as claimed by the Assad regime, or Assad's forces and militia as claimed by the opposition, this event in itself should be recognised as a crime against humanity and those responsible should be held to account. The debate and comments during the next 11 minutes was predominately centred on the barbarity of the Assad regime and what, if anything, could be done by the internationa...

12-year-old boys killed following explosion near West Bank village of Sier

haaretz.com/news/ There are two "comments" at the bottom of this Haaretz article. I assume that "Daniel" and "Micheal" are Israeli or if not then certainly Jewish. Both show the extent of the arrogance shown towards people living in the occupied territories and the way in which Palestinians are expected to accept the presence of an occupying force in their lands. Both comments are indicative of an evil and vindictive attitude which is unfortunately, all too common in the Israeli/Jewish mind set. The whole point of the story, concerning the death of two 12 year old boys, is lost in the sea of hostility and hatred towards Palestinians generally.
