Remember Deir Yassin

The massacre at Deir Yassin.    The Palestinian village of Deir Yassin was attacked on the 9th April 1948 by Jewish terrorists (Israel did not exist until the declaration of 14th May 1948) of the Irgun and Lehi terrorist groups supported by a Palmach mortar unit of the Haganah, another Jewish terrorist organisation. Around 170 Palestinian civilians, including women and children, were killed, with the survivors being loaded on trucks and driven off for a “victory” parade.     These terrorist groups were subsequently absorbed into the Israeli Defence Forces and have continued their programmes of terrorism, aggression and ethnic cleansing against the people in the occupied lands of Palestine ever since and the world turns a blind eye. Deir Yassin (closed to the public) in the green trees to the right of the water tower “The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.” (republished from Apr...

Israeli media blames FaceBook!!

http://www.haaretz.com/blogs/david-s-harp/.premium-1.680378?utm_campaign=Echobox&utm_medium=Social&utm_source=Facebook Haaretz says: If the wave of violence we’re seeing now morphs into a full-fledged Third Intifada, blame it on Facebook.      No. Blame this "intifada",on the continuing occupation of Palestine by a barbaric and increasingly vicious Israeli occupation force. Blame this "intifada" on the illegal and inhuman blockade of Gaza by Israel from land and sea and daily airstrikes against the people trapped in the Gaza strip. Blame this "intifada" on the occupation and blockade of Jerusalem and the al-Aqsa Mosque and the Israeli check points every few hundred yards around Palestinian neighbourhoods in occupied East Jerusalem. Blame this "intifada" on the evil Israeli "settlers" on the West Bank and the other occupied areas who build their illegal settlements destroying, infrastructure, crops and homes, and mur...

Netanyahu wins and the peace process finally expires

http://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2015/mar/20/inyamin-netanyahu-israel-election Netanyahu sank into the moral gutter – and there will be consequences Last week, the Prime Minister of Israel said that "there will be no Palestinian state if he wins the election". The voice and face of evil, at last confirming what everyone has known for years. His racist fascist ideology, has murdered thousands of Palestinian men, women and children in the occupied territories of the West Bank, Jerusalem and Gaza.   The face of evil He won the election on Tuesday this week, and yesterday (Thursday), he says that he "wants a sustainable, peaceful two-state solution". Netanyahu the cynic, liar and threat to the whole region. The occupation of the West Bank, Jerusalem and the blockade of Gaza continues almost 12 months since the ceasefire, which ended (for now) "Operation Protective Edge", when it was agreed that the siege would end and ...

More empty rhetoric on trade with Israel.

http://www.theguardian.com/world/2013/dec/09/uk-government-warns-over-business-israeli-settlements UK government issues warning over doing business with Israeli settlements Palestinian laborers work on a construction site   Our government issues "guidelines" to British businesses over the risks involved with their support and trading activities with illegal Israeli settlements in the occupied territories of Palestine. More words and empty rhetoric when what is so clearly required is a complete prohibition of trade with Israel.

Israel has no intention of reaching a settlement.

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/08/26/palestinians-call-off-peace-talks_n_3816358.html?utm_hp_ref=world  Palestinians Call Off Peace Talks After West Bank Clash Men carry the body of a Palestinian shot dead by Israeli troops during his funeral at Qalandiya Refugee Camp   As predicted, the Israeli's will find a way of torpedoing the "peace talks" and (try to) dupe the world into accepting the proposition that it was all the Palestinians fault. As it happens, these latest killings in the Qalandia refugee camp, come within hours of the announcement a further construction of 1600 housing units and the infrastructure needed to develop the planned Jewish community, in Ramat Shlomo in East Jerusalem. Ramat Shlomo in East Jerusalem.   How can the Israeli's expect the world to accept the assurance that their intentions in seeking an agreement with Palestine are genuine, and at the same time continue their provocative actions? As I ...

Israel to build more settlements in East Jerusalem.

http://www.haaretz.com/news/diplomacy-defense/.premium-1.541149   Israel gives final go ahead for 800 more homes in East Jerusalem   Israel approves settlements in East Jerusalem  After yesterday's announcement of 1200 new settler homes in the occupied West bank and Jerusalem, comes this news of an additional 890 homes in East Jerusalem. These announcements, coming as the Palestinian/Israeli talks are scheduled to co mmence tomorrow, Wednesday, clearly demonstrate the determination of Israel to scupper any prospect of an agreement with Palestine. Israel is determined to torpedo any opportunity of a Middle East peace and will seek to shift blame for any breakdown onto the Palestinians. How can any right thinking person believe that the duplicitous Israeli government are acting in good faith with their constant hypocritical references to seeking a solution, whilst at the same time continuing and expanding their construction ...

Continuing settlement building in occupied Palestine.

http://www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/2013/08/11/israel-settlements-palest_n_3740390.html?utm_hp_ref=uk Israel Approves 1,200 New Settler Homes In Palestinian Prisoner Swap Deal Illegal Israeli settlement construction   It has always been abundantly clear that Israel has no interest in, or intention of, making any agreement with Palestine. This Huffington Post article implies that the Palestinians agreed to the continued building of Israeli settlements in exchange for the release of Palestinian prisoners. This is far from true. In fact the Jewish Home Party leader Naftali Bennett (who also boasts that he has killed lots of Arabs during his life) would not support the Israeli coalition government of which his JHP is a part, in continuing with or even attending the Kerry inspired "peace" initiative, or the prisoner release, unless Netanyahu and the rest of the coalition agreed to the announcement of and continuation with the construction of 1,200 more settlem...

The PA protecting Israeli settlements.

http://occupiedpalestine.wordpress.com/2013/06/17/israel-builds-settlements-pa-guards-them-by-khalid-amayreh/ Israel builds settlements, PA guards them.   PLO official Nabil Shaath threw a bombshell this week when he told Israeli reporters in Ramallah that the Palestinian Authority (PA) spends a large portion of its meager budget on guarding Israeli colonies against possible attacks by Palestinian resistance fighters.   Why on earth should the PA spend even one penny on guarding illegal Israeli settlements in Palestine? The "settlers" destroy irrigation systems and other infrastructure, they uproot crops and olive groves, they attack Palestinians in their own homes and they burn villages, all the while protected by the occupying thugs of the Israeli defence Force.     Their whole campaign of violenc...

Israel "defending" itself.

http://electronicintifada.net/blogs/ali-abunimah/most-killed-gaza-deserved-it-even-though-they-were-children-and-civilians-says?utm_source=EI+readers&utm_campaign=cbeb02754a-RSS_EMAIL_CAMPAIGN&utm_medium=email  “Most” killed in Gaza “deserved it” even though they were children and civilians, says Israel’s Danny Ayalon A Palestinian medic carries the body of Abdel Rahman Majdi Naim, 2, who was killed in an Israeli strike on a building housing media offices in Gaza City on 21 November 2012.    The Israeli Deputy Foreign Minister Danny Ayalon, says what many Israeli's believe, which demonstrates why there can never be a resolution of this problem. His comments should be condemned by the United States and the United Kingdom in the strongest possible fashion, and he should immediately be sacked from his post in the Israeli government. He should also be arrested and charged with incitement to murder. Of course, none of this will happen because the ...

The "Holocaust". A justification for aggression.

http://blogs.independent.co.uk/2012/08/26/auschwitz-how-relevant-is-it-in-todays-society/ "Holocaust"How relevant is it in today’s society? The relevance of the "Holocaust" is diminished every time it is used as a justification or reason for another act of aggression by Israel against Palestinians or some other neighbour. The "Holocaust Card" has been played by successive Israeli governments since 1948 in order to generate a collective guilty conscience in the outside world with the purpose of giving credibility to the "right to self defence" argument, so favoured with numerous government spokespersons. As  former Israeli Minister Shulamit Aloni stated in an interview on Democracy Now, " We always pull out the holocaust/anti-semitic trump card ". (You Tube video). Using the Holocaust as a justification for aggression against others is an insult to those who died during the Nazi period, be they Jews, Gypsies...

Israel: State Terrorists.

http://www.haaretz.com/news/ Airstrikes by Israeli F16's against civilians in Beit Lahia, Deir el-Ballah and Khan Younis , can hardly be described as self defence. The thugs of the IDF hide behind the facade of " .........strength and determination...." when they really mean collective punishment by the use of state terrorism.

Toulouse and hypocrisy

Toulouse-shooting-sparks-france-manhunt The events in Toulouse over the past few days are truly shocking and deserve the condemnation of the whole world. It is also shocking and sickening to witness the hypocrisy of the western media, in the reporting of this event, and also the behaviour of western politicians in their reaction to the events. The sight of Nicolas Sarkozy complete with serious expression at the scene and later at the airport as the bodies were flown back to Israel was nauseating. Today, we have the news that Baroness Ashton is being urged to resign as EU High Representative by Israel's defence minister, because of her remarks made highlighting various tragedies taking the lives of children when she addressed a Palestinian refugee youth conference in Brussels. She has today qualified her comments with “"At yesterday's event I drew no parallel whatsoever between this tragedy and events elsewhere in the Middle East." Back tracking...

12-year-old boys killed following explosion near West Bank village of Sier

haaretz.com/news/ There are two "comments" at the bottom of this Haaretz article. I assume that "Daniel" and "Micheal" are Israeli or if not then certainly Jewish. Both show the extent of the arrogance shown towards people living in the occupied territories and the way in which Palestinians are expected to accept the presence of an occupying force in their lands. Both comments are indicative of an evil and vindictive attitude which is unfortunately, all too common in the Israeli/Jewish mind set. The whole point of the story, concerning the death of two 12 year old boys, is lost in the sea of hostility and hatred towards Palestinians generally.
