The obscenity of Egyptian "Show Trials" continues.

http://www.theguardian.com/media/2016/jun/18/al-jazeera-employees-among-six-people-sentenced-to-death-in-egypt Al-Jazeera employees among six sentenced to death in Egypt   The obscenity of Egyptian "show trials" since Al-Sisi, with outside help and encouragement, staged the coup of   3rd July 2013 and overthrew a democratically elected President. For as long as western governments and Israel continue to support and bolster this tinpot dictator, loathed by the majority of Egyptians, so will he continue his program of imprisonments, show trials, persecution and executions of any people or groups opposed to his despotic regime.  He has been give "carte blanche" by the west to crush any opposition, real or imagined, to permanently extinguish all traces of the "Egyptian Spring", to re install a military dictatorship in the country. In December of 2013, I wrote in New Agenda under the heading of "T he Egyptian people are th...

When the result is decided before you go to the polls, why bother to vote?

http://www.theguardian.com/world/2015/oct/18/egypt-parliamentary-elections-shore-up-sisi#comment-61687268 Low turnout as Egyptians shun elections designed to shore up Sisi    "President"Abdel Fattah al-Sisi   This is what happens when a despot conspirator instigates an illegal coup against a democratically elected President, then with the backing and financial support of the "West" and Israel, imprisons any opposition, stages sham show trials and executes political opponents. In May of 2014, I wrote "Polling stations empty, few voters but still only one pre determined winner. No doubt the final figures will show that "99% of voters" cast their ballots and of these the "vast majority" chose al-Sisi. A sham election, with a sham outcome. The coup of (last year) 2013, (no matter what the Americans may call a military take over), which overthrew a democratically elected President has completed the circle and installed ...

A history of failed foreign policy.

http://www.independent.co.uk/voices/comment/what-a-choice-for-egypt--a-megalomaniac-president-or-the-madness-of-isis-10400354.html What a choice for Egypt – a megalomaniac president or the madness of Isis American "foreign policy"  As is invariably the case in the foreign policy options of the United States, particularly in the Middle east, the American have managed to screw up an entire country and crate an infinitely worse and more dangerous situation than that which existed before their infantile meddling. By encouraging and supporting (perhaps even participating in) the overthrow of a democratically elected President and replacing him with a military dictatorship led by a despotic little General, the Americans have ensured that Isis (another failed experiment where an American organised and financed organisation has morphed into a dangerous and brutal "terrorist" group) has spread its influence to yet another country. The evidence after years o...

The double standards of the western governments.

http://www.haaretz.com/news/middle-east/.premium-1.636538  Egypt to raze 2000 more homes for Gaza "Buffer zone" Demolishing homes in Rafah   Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, dictator of Egypt, who with American and Israeli backing overthrew the democratically elected President with a bloody coup, authorised mass arrests and show trials of journalists, political opponents, and dissidents continues with his programme of terror and punishment on the people of Gaza and Palestine. Acting on "instructions from Tel Aviv and no doubt Washington, Egyptian authorities have begun implementing phase two in the flattening of large swaths of Rafah. An evil cabal in Cairo conspiring with the evil Tel Aviv and Washington axis to inflict punishment, pain and misery on men women and children in Palestine. The world says nothing in criticism of this shameful act.

The evil axis from Tel Aviv to Cairo and Washington .

Stop these Israeli's before they kill everybody !!   Gaza. 19July 2014   In June of 1942, the village of Lidice in Czechoslovakia, was completely destroyed by German forces of the SS. All inhabitants of the village, including women and children were either executed or deported to concentration camps in Germany. This atrocity was only part of a number of atrocities carried out by German forces against civilians in towns and villages throughout Europe during the last war. Last night in Gaza, the Israeli army tanks and infantry, supported by air force jets and naval ships, carried out its largest bombardment yet of the northern area of Gaza, killing more than 40 civilians including more children. This morning the skyline of Gaza, is almost obscured by thick black smoke still rising from buildings within the area as the bombardment continues unabated. The comparison between the German army atrocities in Europe in the 1940s and the Israeli Armed Forces in Ga...

Al-Sisi 's Egypt blocks humanitarian aid from reaching Gaza.

http://www.presstv.ir/detail/2014/07/19/371963/egypt-halts-gazabound-aid-convoy/   Egypt halts Gaza-bound aid convoy   Egypt blocks aid convoy from reaching crossing with Gaza The Egypt of Al-Sisi. The duplicitous conspirator who seized power in the July coup two years ago. Al-Sisi, the pro American, pro Israel and anti Palestinian dictator. Why should Hamas or anyone else trust this despicable tyrant, who is even worse than Mubarak? Al-Sisi proposes a cease fire which actually requires the complete capitulation of the people in Gaza and condemns them to a continuing blockade and occupation. The Americans and Israeli's of course consider it to be a good deal and castigates Hamas for rejecting a fait accompli agreement to which they were not even invited. Egypt, Israel and America are guilty of crimes against humanity.

As Egypt partially opens the border crossings, Tel Aviv promises more airstrikes.

http://www.theguardian.com/world/2014/jul/10/egypt-opens-border-gaza-airstrike-casualties-medical-care-palestinians  Egypt opens border with Gaza to allow airstrike casualties in for medical care Ambulances wait to enter Egypt I have been critical of Egypt and the junta now running the country, since al-Sisi seized power in a bloody coup in July last year. Opening the border crossings with Gaza, if only to allow Palestinians to access to medical facilities in Egypt, is a step towards the Egyptian government recognising world opinion in regard to Israeli aggression in Gaza and the West Bank. There is little prospect of any change in the situation on the ground when the almost hysterical interviews o n television with Mark Regev, Peter Lerner and other "spokespersons", demonstrate the hawkish atmosphere in Tel Aviv.       Onl...
