Watson looks more ridiculous with every new "reds under the bed" claim.

http://www.theguardian.com/politics/2016/aug/14/documents-prove-far-left-planned-to-infiltrate-labour-says-tom-watson Tom Watson claims proof of far-left planning to infiltrate Labour Tom Watson The Guardian grasps yet another straw in the wind, attempting to breath some life into Watson's rapidly declining "reds under the bed" fear mongering smear. (see comment from marsCubed herein). With this continuing hysteria from Watson, aided and abetted by the media and particularly the Guardian, the whole proposition of widespread infiltration of the Labour party by "Trots", or "Militants", or "Entryists" or some other lurid description, becomes more laughable by the day. Every "new" almost daily allegation from Watson, makes him and his supporters, including the media, look more and more desperate and ridiculous.

Tom Watson is talking nonsense

http://www.theguardian.com/politics/2016/aug/13/jeremy-corbyn-tom-watson-talking-nonsense Tom Watson is talking nonsense – and he knows it Sorry Tom, it is nonsense Tom Watson is in the last desperate throws of his attempt to remove Jeremy Corbyn as leader of the Labour party. Having now been exposed as one of the prime movers in the failed coup attempt and the conspiracy of June last, Watson resorts to the old and now discredited "reds under the bed" tactic, so popular with the Parliamentary Labour Party and those who support them, over many years. The philosophy of this contemptible, but still frequently used smear is that when they, the PLP, are loosing the arguments and see their position of power and influence in rapid decline, they resort to distorting the facts into a grotesque parody of reality, and then shouting very loudly that anyone who disagrees is a "Trot" or "Entryist" or "militant extremist" or some other description...

Tom Watson ‘peddling conspiracy theories’ but no credible proof.

http://www.theguardian.com/politics/2016/aug/10/tom-watson-sends-corbyn-proof-of-trotskyist-labour-infiltration Tom Watson sends Corbyn 'proof of Trotskyist Labour infiltration' Tom Watson has sent the Labour Party leader’s office a four-page document, based on publicly available information, but essentially comprising 30 year old pamphlets and selective quotes from books by Michael Crick, published 1n 1984 and 1985. If Watson is really genuine in his concern for the Labour party and "entryism" of forces from the extreme left, he should find more credible sources for his warnings rather than resort to the tactic, so popular with those on the right, of simply, ‘peddling conspiracy theories’ in the hope that some people may actually believe the smears. No. With his actions and Guardian (who else) interview of yesterday, Watson has finally thrown off the mask of the " honest broker" and confirmed suspicions held by some all along, that hi...

Luke Akehurst going round with his begging bowl.

https://www.crowdpac.co.uk/campaigns/23/luke-akehurst Luke Akehurst for Labour NEC says Luke Akehurst Luke Akehurst. Standing for election to NEC Luke Akehutst, firmly clutching his begging bowl, wandering around the pages of social media, (and elsewhere no doubt), seeking donations to support his campaign for a place on the Labour party National Executive. This duplicitous individual should have been expelled from the Labour Party months ago, rather than now seeking election to the NEC. Akehurst you will recall, agitated against Jeremy Corbyn during the leadership election ,with smears and distortions, urging members to vote for anyone except Corbyn, and is a typical example of the rotten rump within the Labour Party who, despite all the evidence to the contrary, clings to the delusion that Labour should seek a return to the Blairite policies of the discredited “New Labour” Not that that in itself is justification for expulsion. The actions of Akehurst and his ...

Sections of the PLP has been trying our patience for long enough

http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/politics/jeremy-corbyn-should-resign-says-labour-mp-who-agrees-with-him-in-opposing-syria-air-strikes-a6751056.html Jeremy Corbyn should resign, say senior Labour MPs The days of turning the other cheek are over. For many months elements the PLP have been trying the patience of thousands of Labour party members and supporters around the country with the almost incessant criticism, plotting, self serving articles, all designed to further their own interests and override and reverse the democratic decision taken by more than 250,000 party members in the leadership ballot and supported by thousands more people around the country. The despicable and unacceptable face of today's PLP. Jeremy Corbyn's shadow cabinet Those party members who value democratic decisions and support the current leadership, must now unite against the reactionaries within the PLP and fight back with whatever means may be available...

Luke Akehurst, and his Labour First group use the "Independent" to create division.

http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/politics/labour-left-and-right-at-war-mainstream-internal-pressure-group-hits-out-at-divisive-momentum-a6686946.html Labour left and right at war: Mainstream group hits out at 'divisive' Jeremy Corbyn-backed Momentum campaign Labour First Group secretary Luke Akehurst Labour First, that divisive group led by Luke Akehurst, who agitated against Jeremy Corbyn during the leadership election ,with smears and distortions, urging members to vote for anyone except Corbyn. The same Luke Akehurst who on the 11th July this year stated “We would therefore encourage supporters of Andy, Yvette and Liz to transfer votes to each other at CLP nomination meetings so that as few CLPs as possible make supporting nominations for Jeremy.” The same Labour Firs t Group who boast amongst its supporters people like Chuka Umanna, Tristam Hunt , Liz Kendal and others who snubbed Jeremy Corbyn at the Party Conference by packing their bags and c...
