Claiming £165.50 expenses is not necessarily wrong as the figure is a flat rate expense. "Staying with a friend" rent free while her flat was being finalised, an "oversight" resulting in undeclared rental income, an undisclosed controlling interest in a spice manufacturing company, 17 tax payer funded foreign trips at least one of which was with her business partner, Abid Hussain who has been a leading member of Hizb ut Tahrir, the radical Islamic group the Tories promised to ban while in opposition and now this latest disclosure of her behaviour.
On my Blog "New Agenda" yesterday (Sunday June 3rd 2012) I wrote, "Like the drip, drip, drip of Chinese water torture, the now almost daily, allegations concerning this patronising obnoxious woman continue to emerge. She should be subjected to a thorough investigation not only by the House of Lords Committee, but also the police."
It seems to me that the time for such investigations is now overdue
