The "Friends of Syria" fail to agree.

http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/middle-east/syria-crisis-london-meeting-fails-to-deliver-hope-of-breakthrough-8897289.html   Syria crisis: London meeting fails to deliver hope of breakthrough Assad will play no role in transition, says US, UK and Saudi Arabia   The "Friends of Syria" meeting in London yesterday, (Tuesday 22nd October) broke up without any agreement in respect of the way forward. In fact one of the "friends", Saudi Arabia, is threatening to withdraw from the group largely in respon se to the failure of the American dominated clique to take any form of military action against the Syrian government and to be rather reticent in their support of the rebel groups in terms of hardware and weapons. This reticence is understandable in so far as the "Friends of Syria" support only part of the opposition to President Assad and are still faced with the problem which they have faced since the start of the civil war. Nuclear power is not the solution.

http://www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/2013/10/21/nuclear-plant_n_4134359.html?utm_hp_ref=uk Ed Davey Announces New Nuclear Plant, Paid For By China, Built By France's EDF    Hinckley Point C.   Nuclear power is not the answer to global warming, no matter what the pro nuclear lobby may try to tell us. There are numerous issues and problems associated with generation of nuclear energy not least of which is clearly demonstrated by the Fukushima disaster. (In fact Fukushima is a greater threat to mankind than global warming) As most countries are currently closing their nuclear power plants and cancelling plans for more, it seems that only we are pressing ahead with ours.   One question among many, that the pro lobby have always avoided is "What are you going to do with the waste products many of which have a half life of 1000 years?"

Sky News is obsessed with China

http://news.sky.com/story/1156724/china-man-kills-pregnant-wife-and-family What is this obsession that Sky News have with bloody China? They have already started reporting the business news from China and even weather reports. Cameron, Johnson, Osborne and the rest of the Tory sycophants may think that China is now the greatest thing since sliced bread (forget about the human rights abuses) but that is no excuse or reason for cramming this far off land down our throats every two minutes.

China is now flavour of the month for George Osborne.

http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/politics/george-osborne-says-secondrate-britain-must-rediscover-its-can-do-attitude-8890558.html   Britain needs to be more like China, the Chancellor has said.     Over recent years, politicians of all political persuasions have told us that we can "learn lessons" from various locations around the world. Germany, France and numerous other countries including of course the United States, have all been listed as examples of how we should behave, or used as models for a particular way of life or civilisation, which satisfies the politicians perception of what he or she feels would make good press at home. Now it seems that China is "flavour of the month" and Osborne leads a chorus of government sycophants squabbling with each other to get their particular inane contributions into the press or on television. (Civil rights abuses are conveniently forgotten). We can only hope that Osborne, or some other g...

Switching will only take you to another member of the cartel.

http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/home-news/david-cameron-under-fire-for-reaction-to-british-gas-fuel-bill-hike-for-almost-8-million-customers-8885944.html David Cameron under fire for reaction to British Gas fuel bill hike for almost 8 million customers Cameron "regrets" this latest piece of energy company extortion, and along with other members of the ConDem coalition clique, advises British Gas customer to switch suppliers. Conveniently, Cameron and his other accomplices fail to mention that switching to another member of the power company cartel, has little if any, real benefit as they all fix their prices to ensure that they all have a "piece of the cake". The fallacy, trotted out by all of the power companies, is that the wholesale prices from their suppliers are increasing and that they have to pass on that increase in order to remain competitive. Perhaps SSE, Br...

Another member of the energy company cartel crawls out of the woodwork and announces hefty price increases.

http://www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/2013/10/17/british-gas-_n_4113572.html?utm_hp_ref=uk British Gas Hikes Prices Up By More Than 10%, Adding £120 To Annual Bills This morning, British Gas crawl out of the woodwork, and announce price hikes of 10% for gas and 9% for electricity. The increases are effective from the 23rd of next month The second of the cartel members leap onto the wagon with their parasitic greed prompted justifications for stealing even more money from their customers. The government of course says nothing and does nothing. How much longer will public tolerance put up with these thieves taking money from families, and governments so in the pockets of the industry that they allow such outrageous behaviour to go unchallenged?
