Numerous repeats and an almost endless diet of American sit com / soap type fill ins seeking to dumb down the viewer and batter them into a state of docile submission. I t has arrived at last. The date that I and probably thousands of others have been waiting for since last June. It is the date when the days begin to get longer and the endless hours of darkness which we have endured for months, become shorter and shorter as we move towards the next milestone when we can rectify the mischief done last October and put our clocks forward by the "stolen" hour.
