Bob Crow, RMT leader, dies of suspected heart attack at 52
Bob Crow, RMT general secretary |
Robert "Bob" Crow (13 June 1961 – 11 March 2014)
A great loss to the trade union movement and to Rail, Maritime and Transport (RMT) in particular.
Bob Crow retained the values and the historic principles of the Labour movement as true representatives of working people and their families in this country. Unlike the Labour Party which has, over the past decades, drifted further and further to the right of the political spectrum, Crow would not abandon the traditional roots of the Labour movement in pursuit of short term popularity and personal advancement.
