New Agenda.

It is Monday 5th March 2012 and this morning, just to prove that there is a mysterious phenomenon existing under the name of “Murphy's Law”, the Internet connection will only work in -1st gear. Of course this means that to connect to my bookmarked pages for news and comment , or my Twitter pages, or perhaps most annoyingly New Agenda, I have to wait with bated breath for nearly 20 minutes for each stage of the connection, and even then its incomplete.
NOT GOOD ENOUGH BT !!
Stop prating about with the lines and get the fibre optic in NOW. We who live in the “sticks” are just as worthy of good internet connection as those who live in Canary Warf or even Downing Street.

For the last 36 hours (thought it seems more like 36 days) there has been wall to wall news coverage, media and television comment and reporting, with Sky News taking first prize for frenzied minute by minute reporting from the Palace, the hospital, from a village somewhere in England, from the studio and anywhere else that Burley, Botting and company could stick a microphone into some obscure "celebrity's" face and ask for yet another banal quote. All this galvanising the mass hysteria of some elements of the public, (who the media would have you believe is the reaction of "the whole world",) with their flag waving, dancing, singing and cheering over what is after all, no more than a woman having a bab...
