The forgotten protests. The Al Khalifa family continue their state terrorism, assisted by the Saudi's, while the United States and Europe (including the UK), look on in silence but still sell them arms and "riot control" equipment.

Princess Noura Bint Ebrahim al-Khalifa, seems to be "one of the family" just like the others. Incidentally, the Al Khalifa family moved to Bahrain in 1797. Originally, the family lived in Umm Qasr  where they preyed on the caravans of Basra and pirated ships in the Shatt al-Arab  waterway, until Turks expelled them to Kuwait where they remained until 1766. In 1820, the Al Khalifa tribe were recognized by Great Britain as the rulers of Bahrain after signing a treaty. It seems that nothing has changed in the last 250 or so years.The Al Khalifa's remain a family of pirates, cut throats and  oppressors and the United States, Great Britain and Europe continue to support them.
