The protests against the military coup in Egypt on July 3rd, have not gone away as demonstrations against Abdel Fatah al-Sisi and his junta continue. It is just that the world's media, generally ignore Egypt in much the same way as they ignore Bahrain and the protests there. Has anyone noticed how the media rarely report events in Syria? It seems that now the hysterical clamour from the United States, France and Great Britannia, to bomb the Syrians has been moved to the back burner, the worlds press and television have lost interest.
