Watson steps over the line

https://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/politics/tom-watson-brexit-second-referendum-labour-corbyn-shadow-cabinet-nec-meeting-a8892511.html  Labour deputy leader storms out of meeting in row over Brexit referendum stance Tom Watson has clearly crossed the line with this latest attention seeking tantrum. Watson who has been associated with the usual suspects who have been trying to dislodge Jeremy Corbyn since he was first elected to the leadership, has become more erratic over recent months and now "storms out of a meeting". He is out of control and should immediately be sacked. He is just a disruptive figure in the Shadow Cabinet and still holds his own leadership ambitions. He should be sacked before he causes even greater damage.

New Agenda on Sunday is out Sunday, Apr. 28, 2019

https://paper.li/f-1346065353#/ Good morning everyone. Last weeks scare regarding Megan and Harry being sent to live "somewhere in Africa" seems to have been dispelled, at least for the time being. It now seems that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will take up residence in California.  Unless  they are actually  doing  some proper work in "The Golden State", I hope that they are taken off the civil list so that we do not have to fund their life choice. The nauseating Daily Mail is at it again. A headline this week, which I will not even bother to reproduce here, screams out in disgusting and repulsive bias without any acknowledgement to the factual basis of their "story". Spewing out their usual smears and embellished distortions about Hamas, the IRA, Hezbollah and the rest, the Mail condemns itself with ample justification, for the closure of a "newspaper," which again abuses 10 fold, the privilege of "freedom of t...

Not a snub to the Queen.

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-6963491/Row-John-Bercow-REFUSES-attend-State-Banquet-thrown-Donald-Trump-June.html A "newspaper" which abuses Freedom of the Press. The nauseating Daily Mail is at it again. Today's headline which I will not even bother to reproduce here, screams out in disgusting and repulsive bias without any acknowledgement to the factual basis of their "story". Spewing out their usual smears and embellished distortions about Hamas, the IRA, Hezbollah and the rest, the Mail condemns itself with ample justification, for the closure of a "newspaper," which again abuses 10 fold, the privilege of "freedom of the press" and the right to free speech. Not for the first time, and probably not the last unless they are stopped, the Mail provides a rationale for those who argue that when the media, abuse their powers and position within society, they forfeit the rights associated with a free press. There is a vast d...

It was all a cynical ploy

https://www.standard.co.uk/news/politics/theresa-may-escapes-threat-of-early-leadership-challenge-until-december-as-1922-committee-rejects-a4125506.html Theresa May escapes threat of  leadership challenge as 1922 Committee rejects changing rules.  Now it becomes clear. After weeks or even months of speculation, rumour and positioning, the lies and hypocrisy are ex[posed as nothing more than cynical tactics. It is now as plain as the nose on your face that Conservative MP's had no intention of ousting Theresa May from the Premiership, as the influential 122 Committee decide not to change the rules for election of their party leader. To what extent Constituency Associations and ordinary party members were involved in this cynical ploy we can only speculate, but the probability is that only a few members of the 1922 Committee and just a small handful of MP's hatched a plot to drum up sympathy for May and at the same time to push the "May Brexit deal," thro...

Trump is not welcome in this Country

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/debate/article-6952403/ROBERT-HARDMAN-Trumps-D-Day-visit-criticise-it.html Halo-polishing hypocrites of the Left insult the heroes who died to defeat fascism. Robert Hardman, writes for the Daily Mail. "By protesting over Trump's D-Day visit, the halo-polishing hypocrites of the Left insult the heroes who died to defeat fascism" he writes with that air of self righteous indignation so common amongst those journalists, and others, who play the "defeat of fascism" card whenever criticism of the United States, or in this case criticism of the man incumbent in the White House, is voiced. I along with many others, are insulted by the words " halo-polishing hypocrites of the Left", and take strong exception to the assumption that we are somehow insulting those of all nations who took part in and died in the D Day landings of 1944. The objection to Trump and his state visit to the UK has nothing to do with D D...

New Agenda on Sunday is out:

https://paper.li/f-1346065353#/ Good morning everyone. It is not until you spend some time in hospital that you realise how bad things in the NHS have actually become. The Mirror report deals only with the tip of the iceberg concerning staff levels, and there is no doubt that shortages of staff are common and widespread throughout the NHS. Certainly this is the case in Dorchester NHS Trust. It is not however a problem in staffing levels alone. There is a shortage of everything and I mean every thing, Medicines, medical equipment, ointm ents, and other what should be essential supplies have either not been ordered or are not available due to "savings" in expenditure. At one stage male disposable urine bottles were being reused at least twice, as replacements had not been ordered "in order to save money. The Tory government wit its drive for austerity and cuts is killing our NHS. Soon they may even be killing patients if they have not done so already.  ...

Nevile Chamberlain in 1939. Theresa May in 2019

Chamberlain missed the signing of the Treaty of Non-aggression between Germany and the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics on 23rd August allowing the Germans a free hand to invade Poland on the 1st September. history will record what Theresa May has missed.

The Tories and their drive for austerity and cuts are killing our NHS.

A secret recording with out of context reporting

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-47924025 Jeremy Corbyn admits: Labour ‘ignored’ anti-semitism. I am getting very fed up with the almost constant criticism concerning antisemitism aimed at Jeremy Corbyn. Again Margaret Hodge is involved, this time leaking a recording she secretly made of a conversation with Corbyn regarding the proposed appointment of Lord Falconer to review the Party's complaints procedure. The tape of this conversation which according to Hodge, she made secretly as an "insurance policy", she leaked to the Sunday Times, and no doubt with her prior knowledge they have spread across their front page and not surprisingly, have been very selective in their reporting. What Corbyn actually said in connection with the appointment of Falconer, was "He will look at the speed of dealing with cases, the administration of them and the collation of the evidence before it's put before appropriate panels... because I was concerned tha...

Julian Assange must not be sacrificed to American justice.

https://www.thetimes.co.uk/edition/news/julian-assange-faces-decades-in-us-jail-over-spying-claims-3fh27jcck Julian Assange faces decades in US jail over spying claims. The extradition treaty between the United States and the United Kingdom dates from 2003,   and was implemented by the UK in the  Extradition Act 2003  and came into force in April 2007 following its ratification by the US Senate in 2006.Since that time just 7 US citizens have been extradited to the United Kingdom as against the 34 UK citizens extradited to the United States. The latest victim of this very one sided "treaty" is likely to be Julian Assange, who has been resident in the  Ecuadorean embassy in London nearly seven years since seeking protection inside. Assange is not a terrorist, or a murderer or even a sex offender. His "crime" was to expose   " evidence of atrocities in Iraq and Afghanistan". This of course coupled with the video footage of American gun ship he...

A new coalition even more extreme than the last

https://www.theguardian.com/world/2019/apr/10/israel-election-netanyahu-appears-on-track-for-victory-despite-tied-result Netanyahu appears on track for victory  Benjamin Netanyahu appears to be on course to be re elected as Prime Minister of Israel. With 97%of the votes counted, he and General Benny Grantz, leader of the Blue and White party Netanyahu's main rival for the Premiership, have each won 35 seats in the 120 seat Knesset. However, due to the complexities of the Israeli electoral system and the political balance in the country, Netanyahu seems certain to be able to form another coalition to keep him in power for another 4 years. Netanyahu will, as he has done to date, be able to draw support from the extreme right, nationalists and religious parties who historically have supported and promoted the expansion and creation of Israeli settlements on the West Bank and other areas of occupied Palestine. The parties likely to prop up the Netanyahu Likud party would...

It has nothing to do with Antisemitism.

https://www.thetimes.co.uk/edition/news/labour-s-hate-files-expose-corbyn-s-anti-semite-army-9zzl0gxpv Labour’s hate files expose Jeremy Corbyn’s anti‑Semite army. It is remarkable, that invariably during times of trouble for the conservative party, the media manage to find some issue with which to attack the Labour party, or perhaps more accurately, Jeremy Corbyn. Today is no exception as Prime Minister May lurches to yet another crisis for her leadership having to go begging to the EU for another extension to the Brexit deadline, still clinging to her "My deal or no deal" mania and seeking to drag the Labour party into her own mess, but still refusing to compromise on her "red lines", albeit that the disingenuous  Chancellor Hammond says she hasn't got any. The conservative party members, cabinet and MP's are of course enraged by the present situation,  on the one hand because Theresa May is seeking to involve a " dangerous incompetent",...
