Labour’s hate files expose Jeremy Corbyn’s anti‑Semite army.
It is remarkable, that invariably during times of trouble for the conservative party, the media manage to find some issue with which to attack the Labour party, or perhaps more accurately, Jeremy Corbyn. Today is no exception as Prime Minister May lurches to yet another crisis for her leadership having to go begging to the EU for another extension to the Brexit deadline, still clinging to her "My deal or no deal" mania and seeking to drag the Labour party into her own mess, but still refusing to compromise on her "red lines", albeit that the disingenuous Chancellor Hammond says she hasn't got any. The conservative party members, cabinet and MP's are of course enraged by the present situation, on the one hand because Theresa May is seeking to involve a "dangerous incompetent", "a threat to security", "a traitor to this country, and collaborator with terrorists" and as more recently " a Marxist anti Semite" and on the other hand one who has betrayed the referendum result by not delivering Brexit.
The Times today, weighs in to the crisis with its usual attempt to divert attention from the Party's civil war, and directing the public towards the now discredited Labour antisemitism slur with a "leaked internal document". The front page of the Times headlines "The Labour Party has failed to take disciplinary action against hundreds of members accused of antisemitism under Jeremy Corbyn’s leadership, according to internal documents leaked to The Sunday Times". Interestingly, none of the other newspapers carry the story, but the always faithful Sky News pushes the accusation at every news bulletin, stressing the "continuing antisemitism" in the Labour party organisation.
Peter Mason JLM Secretary |
Sky has even managed to include an interview with Jewish Labour Movement secretary Peter Mason who continues the hysterical tirade before the JLM Annual General Meeting today, where a confidence motion is to be tabled. Mason however, manages to reveal the true motivation for the endless criticism of the party mechanisms for dealing with such issues. The motion of "No confidence", is specific to Jeremy Corbyn as leader of the party. It does not include party structures.
The real reason is as it has always been. There are those who have always sought to displace Jeremy Corbyn as leader. These individuals and organisations will go to any lengths and use any arguments to achieve this objective.

There methods are hardly subtle and the rest of us can only shake our heads in disbelief that they persist with a discredited and despicable accusation.
