Wigan win the Rugby League Challenge Cup.
It was very noticeable that many of the seats in Wembley Stadium were empty. At one time the stadium would be filled to capacity, no matter which teams were on the park. Over recent years, I have noticed that it is the same at most matches leading to the final.
Either the ticket prices have become un affordable for the fans (or have been brought up by corporate hospitality interests who do not really give a toss about rugby league anyway) or there is a growing dis interest in the game. In any case, it is a bit sad to see so many empty seats at the biggest spectacle that the RL has to offer.
