North Korea caught sending shipments to Syrian chemical weapons agency
Caught in the act.
North Korea shipping prohibited chemical, ballistic missile and conventional arms to the Bashar al Assad regime in Syria, in total defiance of "the international community" (aka United States and United Kingdom, shoulder to shoulder and all that belicose nonsense).
Now the United States and with the United Kingdom in tow, have the perfect opportunity to do what they have been longing to do for the past six or seven years and invade Syria to effect regime change in Damascus and replace the Bashar al Assad government with one more likely to do as they are told by Washington and the American neocons. At the same time, "the West" (aka United States again) has the perfect opportunity to attack Pyongyang and Kim Jong-Un with overwhelming, " fire and fury like the world has never seen".
In this way, good old "Uncle Sam" can rid the world of not one, but two evil dictators which pose a threat to American interests. The great tradgedy for the rest of us however, is that modern history, certainly since 1945, is littered with the effects of the Foreign policy disaters of the United Kingdom, France and United States in the Middle East, South America and Asia.
The compelling desire of the western powers to become involved in Syria, has brought about the death of thousands of Syrian civilians, men women and children, and a humanitarian crisis of epic proportions. In the case of North Korea, Donald Trump has demonstrated over the past months since his inauguration in January, that he is prepared to take the world to the brink and even beyond in his megalomanic persuit global domination.Perhaps, even now those few saner voices in Washington and in London may prevail and manage to avert a catastrophic confrontation where there will be no "winners".
