Brexit plans in disarray as Amber Rudd and Damian Green refuse to back 'toxic' plan

The Untited Kingdom governmet led by a lame duck Prime Minister,  is falling to pieces as each new day passes. The performance at Prime Minister Question's yesterday (6th September) was even worse than her prformance prior to the election of last June when her evasiveness, lack of attention to detail and her ineptitude for office were exposed for all to see and comment upon. Yesterday, amid another exhibition of evasion and clumsy distortions, she managed to slip up on poor working conditions, claiming that only a "small number" number of workers were on zero-hours contracts (despite numbers soaring since 2010), and in another faux pas dismissed higher pay for nurses and other public service sector workers as "spending on “this, that and the other". Callous, uncaring, inept and completely out of touch, Theresa May has outstayed her shelf life by many months and has become an embarrasment not only to her party, but to the country as well.

Earlier in the day, Defence SecretaryMichael Fallon  appeared on Sky television news defending the indefensible performane of Brexit Secretary David Davis and the "negotiating" position of the United Kingdom government in the discussions in Brussels which are rapidly turning into a pantomime. Fallon is famous for his ability to drop clangers in every interview that he takes part in and yesterday was no exception. When asked about nurses and the public sector pay cap, Fallon showed his complete lack of knowledge when responding with another classic blunder saying that the public sector pay cap "has only been in place for a couple of years".  He repeated this gaffe on BBC News 24 a few minutes later and when corrected by the news anchor that the cap had been in place since 2010, imposed some 7 years ago, Fallon compounded his blunder with the imbecilic comment that "of course that was something quite different".

From there onward, the goverments day declined from bad to worse via Theresa May's woeful performance at PMQ's through the emerging relevations that Brexit and the "On / Off" discussions together with  "position" papers are tearing the government and its supporters to pieces by the hour.
Even the usually supportive media, are carrying stories of cabinet divisions and warfare, with ministers sticking their heads above the parapet in open crticism of the Prime Minister and her policies. It was not a good day for the government with numerous reports today of Industry leaders and employers criticising Home Offce plans for imigration controls post Brexit, as “catastrophic” for some industries.
Europe has always been a divisive issue within the conservative party and now Brexit has increased those divisions imeasurably, between those who will do anything to keep the United Kingdom within the European Union and those equally determined to sever all ties as quickly as possible, no matter what the cost to the British people and United Kingdom industry. The process of negotiating a deal acceptable to all parties in Europe and within the United Kingdom, was never going to be easy. However it is woefully clear that this government has no plan, no unity of purpose and no possiblility of resolving these momentus problems any time soon, but will continue to fragment by the hour.
The government is not acting in the public interest by seeking to cling to power when all their credibilty in the country and in Brussels, has been ripped to shreds. This is particularly the case, where the not very well hidden agenda's of those jockying for the position of Leader are clerly on display. Again, the conservative party place personal ambition and self interest at the front of their activites.
