I am becoming increasingly irritated by the finger glued to thumb gesture from the blonde/sand coloured hair (just about covering the grey), orange coloured skin megalomaniac who currently resides at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave NW, Washington, DC.
World leaders have pledged their commitment to the Iran nuclear deal after Donald Trump withdrew his support for the landmark agreement.
Following reports of the most recent temper tantrum reverberating around the corridors of the White House, Donald Trump appeared on television screens around the world ranting about how evil Iran is and how they are reneging on their commitments to the Iranian Nuclear Agreement. He is wrong of course since none of the other signatories to the deal, China, Russia, Germany, United Kingdom and the European Union agree with him and have all stated that they consider that Iran is fully compliant with the "Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA)" or Iran Nuclear Deal as it is commonly known, reached in July 2015 and which included the United States under the then President Barak Obama.
It therefore follows that Trump is mistaken in his assertions or perhaps more accurately, he is being deliberately mischevious and provocative by stating what he knows to be untrue in pursuit of (not very well) hidden objectives.
Moreover, he throws in other falsehoods in justification of his allegations many of which are in fact not even amongst the terms or points in the agreement.
His rantings did however fall short, but only just, of committing the United States to "totally destroying" Iran and therein lies perhaps the real motives for Trump's astonishing outburst. He has been frustrated in his aspirations to achieve American domination in the world by spreading "peace and democracy" through regime change in other countries. For this failure of American foreign policy, particularly in the Middle East, Trump blames Iran and Russia. The twisted logic of Trump's reasoning produces the solution that by reimposing even more severe sanctions against Tehran he can bring down the Iranian government. He refuses to accept the overwhelming evidence that sanctions did not work in the past and have had little effect in other disputes. More over, if he expected that the other signatories to the agreement would blindly follow America's lead, he is very mistaken.
It appears that Trump seeks to lead the United States into another war regardless of any consequences. For the moment, the question of North Korea is on a back burner as the President stokes the rhetoric against Iran and its people. In connection with Iran, Trump has badly miscalculated and the indications are that he is miscalculating in respect of Korea.
Donald John Trump the 45th President of the United States, is a very dangerous man.
