UK on course for no-deal Brexit as Johnson rejects EU agreement

Madcap Boris, the new leader of the Conservative party, has been very busy over the last few days, annoying and alarming our European partners with his blustering rhetoric on "no deal" Brexit, and his sordid brazen attempts to get into bed with Trump. It should not surprise us too much that the American in Number 10, is seeking to bring this country even closer to the land of his birth, even though the vast majority of the people of the United Kingdom have no desire, or in some cases no doubt, a vehement aversion to the idea of becoming quasi American citizens, notwithstanding the aspiration that Bozo and it seems a number of his sycophants around the "cabinet table" may have to the contrary.

Northern Ireland and Brexit. The return of "The Troubles"

Northern Ireland: police attacked in another night of disturbances | Northern Ireland | The Guardian When the "Brexit" debate was still filling our newspapers and our television screens, readers may remember why I had changed my mind since voting to leave at the referendum vote. Apart from the economic arguments, which had become crystal clear after peeling away all the lies and misrepresentations trotted out by Bozo Boris and his "Get Brexit Done" conspirators, there was always the problem of the border between Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. Would it be possible to have one part of the United Kingdom treated differently from other parts of the United Kingdom, particularly when Scotland for example had voted overwhe...

Organisation and protests against the excesses of this Conservative government is essential. Should Harriet Harman suggest even partial support for Conservative policies, she is clearly in the wrong party.

Just in time for the holiday season.

http://www.dorsetecho.co.uk/news/10242948._No_go__for_motorists_in_May_as_parts_of_A35_are_set_for_closure/?ref=mr  Sections of A35 are set for closure in May David Groves from Connect will be in charge of the work on the A35    Road closures between Bridport and Honiton over ten days in May. It seems that many road closures and endless miles of traffic cones on each side of the workings, are always commenced during the holiday season. I know that there are valid reasons (?) why this particular work is scheduled for May (putting down a specialist surface that cannot be laid in moist conditions), but the chaos of diversions and hold ups is something many tourists, commuters and local residents are forced to endure in countless areas all over the country in the spring and summer months every year. Miles and miles of cones.   How often have vehicles crawled for miles past the "Lane ahead closed" markings only to find when ...
