This could be incredibly funny, perhaps even descending into the world of farce, if it were not so serious. As this "antisemitism" controversy drags on with more of Watson's secret army being pushed into the firing line to criticise the Chris Williamson readmission to the party, the media add their weight to the "lets get Corbyn" ruckus. With such lurid headlines as "Jeremy Corbyn calls for civil service inquiry after health claims" or "British Jews say they could leave the UK if Corbyn becomes PM - ‘It’s heartbreaking" and even a piece of health scare nonsense with "Jeremy Corbyn health, stroke fears as mandarins say he’s too frail to become PM ". Yesterday, I wrote how these mischievous conspirators cannot even be honest in their desire to oust Corbyn by whatever means they can, but to continue with the preposterous and discredited "antisemitism" absurdity, demonstrates a complete lack voraciousness. This in itself destroys any shred of credibility that these subversives may hold as they shout louder and louder attempting to convince a disbelieving audience of their credibility.
There must be a whiff of General election aroma in the air, as for different motives in the disparate groupings, the clamour for removing the leadership grows even more hysterical. The media are doing what we would expect of a Conservative sympathetic Press. They are providing further evidence that the establishment is petrified of a Labour government in Number 10, as the Tory party leadership candidates and their supporters are so keen to mention whenever they get the opportunity. As for the PLP, outside groups and some party members in the country, they have never accepted Jeremy Corbyn as Leader and have been trying to remove him ever since the day after he was elected. Their efforts to change leader are becoming significantly more frantic as an election approaches, because they realise that if (when) Labour win the next election their chances of ever unseating the man elected by almost 60% of Labour party members, will have been reduced to zero.
We have always said that as we get closer to a general election, the frenzy of anti Corbyn rhetoric and attacks on the Labour party will intensify in severity We are now on that road, but we must not loose faith in our objective to achieve a Labour government for the many not for the few.
MPs tell Jeremy Corbyn: get a grip or lose a general election
