Senator Bailhache suggests a "single leader who is fully in charge".
One people, one nation, one leader! (where have we heard that before?) Senator Sir Philip Bailhache suggests a "single leader who is fully in charge".
Surely The States of Jersey is secretive and undemocratic enough and the "rule of law" is argued to have broken down already. To have a dictator in charge of the Island, or even a "confederacy" of all the Channel Islands, can only make a bad situation even worse.
